Hi 2BIG - Wanna suggested I ask you a question. Hope I can describe it well - if not, please have me clarify.
She showed me the website where you start with 4 minutes of alternating sprints/walk - then you add to that a little at a time every other workout.
Here's what I don't understand...
I have been doing the treadmill for 1 hr. to 1 hr. 15 minutes per workout (4 days/wk) If I am going to start doing this type of routine (starting with 4 minutes), what do I do for the other 71 minutes? I just can't stop after 4 minutes and go home.
Here's what I did. I continued at the fat burning level on the treadmill - which is a heart rate of 122 or less for me. Then every 5 minutes or sometimes 10 minutes if my heart rate hadn't gotten back down to 122, I did a sprint for 1 minute. I continued this until my time was up.
Anyway, let me know what your thoughts are. I appreciate it!!!!
