          Rant !!!! I am so frustrated....

          I've been 99% faithful to staying on Rung 1, and after a 9 month hiatus from excercise (due to a foot injury), and with this challenge have slowly begun to excercise again. I've lost a few inches, and then I strained the tendon in my heel Again! and my burser is swollen again. I've been so careful to do my stretching excercises, According to the doctor, I'm off excercise for at least a month again.

          ABS-1200, Squats-1200, Lunges-400, PushUps-700, Stability Ball-250 mins,
          I weigh once a week, Mondays !

            I'm so sorry to hear that you are off exercise for now. But, the doc is right - you want to make your your foot heals. Does your doc have any idea why you strained the tendon again?

              Thanks Cynthia.... I'm just so Very frustrated as I really want to finally get rid of this weight and feel healthy again. Unfortunately for me (and most of us) I know that excercise is a major key to health.

              The doc is guessing that it's just a combo of daily walking around, age, weight, and not being 100% healed when I started to excercise a bit. So...... I'm back to gentle stretching, staying on track with my food, and popping lots of IB's (Ibupropen).

              At least I'm not gaining...right

                I know how frustrating that can be KL, I have achilles tendonitis as well in my right ankle. I do a lot of stretching and a lot of exercising that doesn't strain my tendon. Things like swimming, bike riding and isotonic stretches and I have a tape called Callanetics. It is awesome and great for people with back problems as well. Start out at level one on this tape for sure!!! A really intense sweat free workout with GREAT results!!

                Well ladies.... the countdown is deffinately here... only a few days until this is all over! Then you can dust off the scales, take out that measuring Atkins Attack!!!

                I have personally been up to my arm pits in alligators and can't seem to find the plug!! LOL Soooooooo, sooooooo busy with this move. I barely have time to go to the bath room and sleeping is a luxury. Ughhh, three weeks till we are in our new house! I can't wait!!!


                So.... I do have to say I am so proud of all of you for all of your hard work. I know many people dropped out of the challenge and didn't say anything. But for those of you who have stuck it through... you are my heros! I know it hasn't been easy... for me either. We all have stress and issues that pop up and side track us, but getting back up dusting yourself off, and keeping on going towards your goal is the only way to get to where you want to truly be. In the process you learn a lot about yourself. This has been invaluable to me. I hope this challenge has brought you all closer to your goals. Take care! I'll check back soon... well as soon as I can!! LOL

                But deffinately on the 15th. I can't wait to see all of the pictures and inches lost!!! I am so excited!!!

                  CONGRATULATIONS........

                  Thanks for the support Hubbys Girl. I've been doing the stretching, and haven't found much I can do that doesn't aver - stretch things in my foot. I need to locate things to do around the house since the nearest gym is 45 miles away. Swimming is 45 miles, I could try bike riding. I'll share the results of bike riding as I learn more.

                      We are almost done....Yippee! I am so ready to weigh on Friday! I'm calling these measurements final since I started measuring a week early. So I have lost a total of 31.5 inches since the start of this challenge. How amazing!

                      I'm excited to take new pics and post them next to my others so I can see the change for myself. Thanks HG for this challenge. It has been a great motivator and helped open my eyes to the power of change we all have within ourselves. I love to see the new posts with smaller numbers and it's going to be a thrill to watch everyone's weight ticker fall when we weigh!

                        Hi all!!!!!


                        I was down another 6 inches this week!! YIPPEE!!!!
                        Of course my boobs are taking the brunt of it! Oh well. I'll take it!
                        I have lost a total of 35 inches since the start of this challenge. Last week was actually 8 inches, I forgot to double for thighs, etc.
                        I can't wait to weigh!!!

                          Hi everyone,
                          I've been MIA since the end of May and was just now reading up on how everyone is doing. I'm so happy to see the success this challenge has brought to so many. Which proves if you do the work you will reap rewards. I have no excuses for falling off the wagon, other than life got in the way. HG you're absolutely right about the key being how you handle life's challenges. Unfortuately I just couldn't juggle everything at this time, and as usual the ball I can drop without affecting anything else, is me. As I said earlier, I'm so happy to see how great everyone is doing and can't wait for the drumroll after the 15th.
