    hey ladies,


    How are you all doing?


    Well well well, SOLITTLETIME well done on your 13.25" loss, keep pumping those "s off.


    Heather.....WOWOW an amazing 35" that is Super but with the wedding coming up u'r bound to loose weight and inches, just do an extra effort to keep them off during the honeymoon......dont stress too much about your family, the wedding is yours and your future Hubby to be so dont let it bother you.


    Hubby's girl, dont worry even though postings have been slow these past few days but i'm sure u'll be very happy to see out after pics!!....if i read correctly u sold your house so that is great!!


    Anyway, I have been feeling miserable this past week, Zach my 2 yr old had bronchitis and now this past week i have been sick too, i guess his germs found me a little weak, due to sleepless nights and the little tiny buggers attacked my system. i have been on antibiotics for the past week and i still feel as though I'm carrying weights on my head. Yesterday i still found some strength to take my measurements and the bad news is that i have not lost any inches but at least i have not gained either, well i have not exercised lately so I’m not surprised. Hopefully I will feel better by the end of this week get back on track.


    hey Tryinagain!!.....dont be hard on your self fro what i read sometimes our weight halts and then PUFFF, inches will fall of like melted butter just by adding a few calories or the type of food we eat.

      Are yah ready are yah ready are yah ready???


      So we have a little bit of time left for this challenge and I am thinking that for the end of it we should go full tilt and get it done!!! I am looking forward to the after pics for sure! I was wearing the before shirt I have for this challenge today acctually and it is finally loose on my stomach! I am excited to see some pics, but don't want to take any yet so i can be exrta surprised in the end.

      Thanks to all who have been encouraging other challengers here in Atkins Attack.


      We all know how busy life can get, but let's try to keep it at full tilt for the end of the challenge and not lose sight of our goals!

        Hiya, HG and fellow AAers. Sounds like you guys have been doing great. Sorry I've been so absent. I'm back in town now. While I was gone:
        • I did not cheat (despite many very yummy looking opportunities).
        • Didn't do fitday... ate every meal out; too hard to estimate, and likely wouldn't have been accurate.
        • I did measure, and was down about 4.25 inches in the past 2 weeks, and a total of 12+ overall.
        • I did not weigh.
        • I went on a walk through the city one day (about 2.5 miles); I worked out in the hotel gym another day (including 200 crunches toward my ab challenge) and ran 1.5 miles; and I went on a 5 mile jog.
        • I took my vitamins.
        • Did okay with water -- not great.
        So, now I'm back in town with no excuse not to go full tilt. Well, at least until I leave to go back out of town in a week.

        Will check in tomorrow. Good night, all.

              Yesterday and today have been great. I probably drank two gallons of water today. I'm fighting off a sore throat and I've found if I drown myself in water it helps

              HG, I'm in full tilt for the rest of this challenge. I'm sorry I flaked out on everyone (read: myself) for the last week or so. Not going to go into details here as I already have in my journal.

              I'm hoping my cold goes away quick - I miss the hard workouts. I'm still being active and exercising, but it hasn't been strenuous due to sinus drainage and coughing.

                  I know how you feel, i have been blocked for over a week now and my throat hurts plus my chest hurts a little too so its been a struggle. Last week i did not excersice at all i could hardly hold my head up, let alone walk on a tredmill. This week i have tried to do at least 20 mins, but i'm constantly sipping water. I did not loose any inches last week and some how i need to see that change cause i know that i will not feel good about it if no inches are lost AGAIN!!. Focus, Focus, Focus......if i fall i need to get up and keep going, no worries!!


                  Anyway, i have been good with my food and excercise, water has gotten better but there is always room for improvement, Multi vit in.

                  oh yes i have one question, is Rabbit permitted on atkins? here in Malta one of our main dishes is rabbit but it not mentioned in the book and i only did ONE search on the net and did not find anything!! Can anyone answer this for me.

                  many thx.........4 days to go to week 5. i need to get my strength back and make up for the lost time!!

                    Hiya Babywoogie, I think rabbit should be fine on Atkins. The only nmeat source I have found that is really high in carbohydrates is organ meats. Like liver or kidneys. These are not worth the carb counts, but rabbit should be fine. My hubby used to catch rabbits in slips when he was a boy growing up in Newfoundland. He loves rabbit stew. Personally I have never tasted rabbit, but then again I would be a vegetarian if I could. I only eat red meat really. Occasionally chicken or turkey but that is it.

                    WTG Everyone! All of those inches lost are so inspiring! I can't believe how much you all have lost! It is awesome! Well, acctually I can believe it, since i did it too!


                    Anyways, water good, vitamins good, exercise so so, eating great, fitday not today, scale no weigh!!!

                    Gotta go, I got a sick hubby on my hands. He is the last one in the house to have this virus so hopefully I will have some time back to myself soon. TTYL!

                      Janet - hope you feel better soon. Today I felt very rundown and have done no exercise yet. I hope to find the energy to do some stability ball stuff. Food, water, and vitamins have been good today.

                          babywoogie, rabbit should be fine! Check fitday for nutritional info. They have every animal known to man in there, but do they have simple frozen sausage patties? NO.

                            HI Ladies!

                            I have been MIA all week, but I am back. Just been super busy but right on plan I am happy to say.
                            I am having Major scale withdrawls!!
                            I still need to go back and read a lot so I am sorry if I don't offer congrats for progress or anything here, I am just jumping in

                            Its BEAUTIFUL here, like 90's today!! I wish I was home to enjoy it! I need to mow my lawn and get ready for the big holiday weekend.
                            DH and I will be putting our boat on the river (we live on a river), and getting out there to enjoy and do some fishing. So cool!!!
                            Then we are going to the Sky Show in Manchester, not sure what thats all about but a big show with bands and such I think. that should be fun.

                            I am not to worried about plan, I am doing really well this week after my BAD week, and looking forward to keeping it up.

                              Hey All!!!!!

                              Life is good when you spend sooo much time outside you get a burn!!! Ouch, but still good. Doing gardens today. A deffinate thing to keep up curb appeal at our home. I wouldn't want anyone to think I don't care anymore now that it is sold.

                              Well, All is well with me. Lots of good Atkins friendly foods, exercise has been good. Not great, but good. Vitamins, water and fitday have been good too. All is great and I am thinking that the scale is the only thing to try and keep me back. I have been really obsessed lately about the scale and I am going through withdrawls too. Still scale free, but twitching...... *twitch twitch*

                              So I will measure tomorrow. I hope I get the chance to post it, but I do keep a record of it in my fitness journal..... final results of course will be posted.


                              Everyone must be off enjoying the beautiful weather.... it is gorgeous up here.

                                Happy Saturday AA'ers

                                Well I am down 2.5 inches. 2 inches off my waste and .25 inch off each knee. The rest stayed the sme, but I also have not been exercising like a good girl. I plan to get back on that this week coming up.

                                Other than that, stil on plan, taking vitamins, drinking about 100 oz of water per day ( and peeing every 10 minutes!) LOL
                                Sill tracking all in fitday as well.

                                Well I am off, I have a party to go to then a sky show tomorrow so you probably won't hear from me til monday.

                                Have a fun and SAFE and Cheat free Memorial day weekend!!
