    WTG you guys!

I did 11,027 and am taking it off for the night! Now I feel kinda guilty pledging only 5k per day. BUT, I had a busy day for me so tomorrow may be waaaay less!

Hi everyone. Well I did 10,100 steps on Monday! That included doing 40 mins on the treadmill to try and get the steps going. 10,000 is a lot of steps! lol.....
I'm also doing lots of little things to try and get the steps in during the day. I work from home, and spend a lot of time on the mobile to customers. I'm now pacing around my sitting room as I speak. DBF asked me a few minutes ago was I deliberatley heavy breathing to him! lol.....

I love this challenge Cynthia, its really getting me moving! 1124 steps so far. If I drink more water, they'll be more trips to the bathroom, so its a win/win situation all round!

                Way to go, Carmel!

I chalked up a whole 1,861 yesterday... Boy, did I ever overestimate what I thought I would do.

I'm lucky to have a pedometer this morning. It fell off my pants last night and landed hard on my toes. I almost stomped the thing to death...but resisted.

Terry, mine keeps falling off too! And the constant trips to the bathroom, I forget its attached to my belt and then crash it goes again! But I love seeing the numbers going up.... Bet you do more today! You have more to deal with too. I'm not encumbered by a sore leg.

Carmel - Yep, the pedometer is sure going through the Stress Test lately, especially in the bathroom. ugh! If it quits on me, I'm done. I'm not spending money on another one...

I'm glad everyone is doing so well!
Terry - every little bit helps! You are doing well with your leg.
I know some places sell straps that you attach to your pedometer and then your belt loop so if it comes off it doesn't fall. I've seen them online, but I don't know if they carry them in stores.

Oh, for the love of Pete. There's a huge blood blister from the pedometer.

Big toe is a bloody mess from losing a chunk of meat, second toe has the ugly spot... What's going to happen to the third toe today?! LOL

I walked around the park twice and my pedometer said I walked 200 steps--I've got short stubby legs, that can't be right. I bought a new one last night, so I'm glad I had a low goal since I'm a day behind. So far today I'm at 3790, so I think this one will work.

Ok...so apparently yesterday I was wearing a defective pedometer. I found another one I had bought that I forgot about and put it on today. Of course...duhhhhhh I forgot to put it on BEFORE I did my 1 mile on the treadmill this morning but put it on right after that. Well its only 2:30 p.m. and I have been about equally as active as yesterday and I have 3405 steps already and thats not including my mile on the treadmill today. Needless to say this one seems to be working much better.

I felt like a bit of a failure yesterday reading all of your high pedometer readings and my piddly 5,000 and something. I thought sheesh...what are you guys superwomen? Here I did 2 miles on the treadmill and was runnin around doing stuff and had a reading half as much or less than all of yours. Sheesh!

Anyway, so far today so good...smile. Will report on my reading tonight after I do my other mile on the treadmill.

                              Take care everyone
