    studel, i had on demand tv with my cable company prior to moving. if you have access to that, you can get all sorts of stuff.

      All sorts of stuff as in workouts geared to the stability ball...or???

      I'm pretty sure we don't have "on demand" anyway....

        stab ball, yoga, pilates, weights, aerobics, all sorts of stuff. the ball workouts that i taped were all for different areas:
        1 stretching
        2. upper body
        3. lower body
        4. abs/back

        they total 45 minutes of workout when i play them back to back.

        editing to add:
        strudel, do you do what i call the leg/ball squeeze?
        lay, rest your back on the floor, knees bent. put the ball inbetween your knees and them squeeze. the harder you squeeze the more you'll feel your inner thigh muscles working.

          I love the back bend! I'll stay in that pose for a few seconds to stretch out my back and it feels great. Surprisingly I haven't fallen doing that, but I can't quit get up to a sitting position from it though I have trouble with the leg curls when sitting on the ball - can't seem to keep my balance there! Hope your shoulder is doing better, Strudel!

          I got 10 min this morning with pushups, situps, and stretches.

            stuff and no back bends!!!! lol

              Hope you heal up soon, Strudel! I don't follow a DVD program when I'm on the ball, but I wish I had something every once in awhile.

              Chalk up 20 minutes on the ball this morning.

                        i did the stretching program and the lower body workout.

                        190/300

                        i have to share.... i was showing jack some of the harder things i've been doing on the ball lately and said "go ahead, try it" and of course he declined. this was about 3 nights ago. last night he was laying on the floor and grabbed the ball just to rest his legs on. well, we all know that once you touch the ball it's hard not to start doing something. so he was rolling it side to side and pushing it around and i said okay now lift your butt, roll the ball in, roll the ball out and then lower your butt. he looked at me like i'd gone mad but he did it............sort of. lol grace is not his middle name. he has a new found appreciation for my stability ball work.

                          That's pretty funny about MyJack. Now if we can get him to commit to a certain amount of time each month on the stability ball...

                          Yesterday, I did 30 minutes of mostly lower body moves, stretches, and some crunches. I'm a big believer in the stability ball in helping me recover from my knee injury!

                          This morning, I completed 20 minutes of upper body moves, stretches, and crunches.
                          HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7
                          Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.
