Boy was I disappointed to see Joelle stay last night!
My hope is that she can pull herself around and really make this work for her... it's clear, though, that she's one of those people who likes to find excuses, who doesn't want to work too hard for something (even if it's what she wants/is worthwhile) and who doesn't listen to others around her. Very frustrating (especially for Bob it would seem )

Okay! So was that not a big surprise last night in the end? I'm glad they kept Joelle, I was starting to feel sorry for her. I think she does want to be there, but she has been taking a lot of crap. It would be hard being there. They are totally making her the outsider no matter what she does. I hope this leads to a breakthrough for her. And Mandy is such a whiner... what made her any more deserving of a trip home? Hands down the silver team had it, so crying and feeling sorry for herself and making Joelle the 'bad guy' because it wasn't her going home, well, I'm sorry but I think Joelle really needed that kick in the butt the most! Anyways, I was happy for her that she got to stay another week. And what a huge transformation of Damien and his fiance! They looked amazingly happy taking their pictures. That was cool. It sure did reinforce how important it is to push yourself everyday with the workouts in addition to the diet.

So what did you all think?

The only reason I'm not still pissed about last night's show, is because Joelle's friend wants and deserves to be there... she does not deserve to get the boot because of her counterpart's constant slacking! With that said.. I did not get a chance to see what Damien and his fiance looked like at the end, because I was here at work.. but I dvr'ed it so I could watch it on my days off!
chuckling... okay, maybe she didn't deserve to be there, but I thought she did work harder this week and did resist temptation and didn't cave to the donut and the opportunity to cheat. She is pretty weak. BUT, I'm still glad she's there because I think she's gonna make a turnaround and this is the point where it's gonna happen. And then, she would've been murdered for sure if she showed up at Clares house this week. ha! It'll be good if Clare can make it back as well.
I keep thinking about the part where they got rid of all their medications and how much THOSE were costing them! whew! That is a great testament to the power of diet and exercise!

i was kinda thinking that joelle should have gone home because she was not putting in the same efforts as the others. however, i am seeing a trend here in the storyline....we must remember this is television and they want ratings LOL joelle is in the bottom 2 yet again, and survives yet again....and now this whole explosion over her behavior at the ranch and at her home with her best friend, its gonna keep viewers tuned in as well as bring new viewers to the show. i mean, i think the show is all scripted, i mean...i know its like a reality tv show...it is....but still its all about ratings.

Chris,
I think you may be right. All that yelling and f word throwing... it does seem to be just a little too much drama to be real. It IS about ratings.
My daughter tried out for 'So you think you can dance' a few years ago and straight up they said they were looking for 'personality' not the best dancer. They went on to say, 'we know you all can dance or you wouldn't be here, but we're looking for some one who will create ratings'. Luckily, she never really thought they would pick her, she did it for the experience and instead of coming out crying like so many of them did, she came out laughing and made a lot a friends while she was in there. (4 hours of waiting in line to dance for 15 seconds). i was glad she made it a good time and had a mature additude about it.
