    DID my 5 miles, this is slow down wek to get me ready for the 9 miles next week Holly COW. I did it in a pretty good time I figure in 65 minutes . I am flabbergasted when I did my first 5Miles it was in 80 m inutes I have taken 15 minutes off of it what a huge improvement I would say. The longer I run the faster I get WOOHOOO.

    I am finally past the draggies from my TOM last week I am energized and ready to go to the next level. By the end of next month I'll be doing 10 miles How exciting don't ya think so long as I keep going.

    My new runners are totally awesome and my body loves me for them. I just wanted to tell you all how stoked I am LOL.

      Well I braved the wind and rain and humidity last night to get in 2.5 miles. I was aiming for 3 but my hip was a bit tender so I decided to cut it short. For some reason the first mile is always the hardest for me, but somewhere around 2 miles I really get my stride and feel like I could go on and on. I love that feeling!

        Well I did my 10 miles this morning. I ran 20 freakin loops around the pond because of traffic being much heavier on a Mon as opposed to a Sun. (I run right around a elementry school) It was boring but you know what my time was 1:28:58. Seriously I couldn't believe it, but I guess since it is kind of like running on a track with only one short incline per loop it really does make sense. That and the whole no running for 3 days prior. I missed you all this weekend have a great week.

        Sarah you are so awesome. You never let anything stop you. What an inspiration.

          Hello all!

          This weekend I moved onto the second week of Couch to 5k. I did it first on Saturday. I found that I was quite a bit more out of breath jogging for 90 seconds at a time as opposed to the 60 seconds on week one. I did it again on Sunday and it already seemed easier. I'm not sure if it was just the day or what.
          Originally Started May 29, 2003 and lost 96 pounds. Fell off the wagon and gained over 100 pounds back. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!

            Thanks Tex I try not to let stuff get in the way it's an excuse when it does, Almost every time I can exercise I choose to but, whe I don't it's rare. LOL

            Take care everyone I am not running today tomorrow is my day It will be good. My legs are a bit sore from my run yesterday it was faster then usual so it kicked but.

              I'm sitting here pouting because you guys are all out there running and doing so great! No running for me this week again. I have to have one of my knees x-rayed because I may have fractured the knee cap during my white water adventure. Bummer. I did ride my bike to work today though and I have been swimming. I'll be running with you as soon as I can!

                I only did 3 miles today. I am not feeling well. I think the heat is taking its toll or I'm getting sick ... DH has a summer cold .. I hope I'm not catching it. I have a whale of a headache.

                  Oh, Dear Betty and Isabeau I am so sorry that your both on the down side. Betty I sure hope you're not getting sick and Isabeau I sure hope there is no Fracture that would be horrible. Good thing though you will get through this like everything elese just like I have gotten through a lot and you'll be even stronger Just rest and Recover. Here it is Betty you have told me that so many times that I am telling you the same things. LOL

                  I lifted weights today went really well I feel really good about it and even stronger my legs are still achey hope they will feel better soon.

                        4 miles this morning 36:17 avg hr 147 this morning I could not run fast enough to get my heart rate up???? I think my body is going thru some major re-adjusting. I am also have tom oddities for the fist time on this WOE. I am on--I am not--I am on-- I am not?

                        Diana--I cannot believe you are still cycling and swimming. Amazing!!! Hope to hear good news from you visit with the Doc.

                        Yeah Betty, you will blow them away!!! Hope you get to feeling better, your body has been thru quite a bit this last week or so with the extra miles and stress of finding a new job. Take it easy.

                          YAY Betty a job interview that's awesome I hope ya knock em dead. WOOOHOOO. Running day for me today 4 miles I'll do great I knoww it I just have to wake up here LOL. I have to get up real early now to wake my oldest up for School she starts at 8:20 Holly cow when I went to school it was after 9. Oh, well she gets out early any how.

                            I was really going crazy today it was the best run ever I did my 4 miles in 48.08 minutes HOLY cow I was sooo stoked I am sooo proud of myself.

                            How did your interview go hope it went really awesome.

                              Thanks guys, for your votes of confidence with the job interview! It went very well .. just gotta wait to hear back. Plus I have two more interviews at other places tomorrow! (when it rains, it pours!!)

                              I did an early evening 4 miles tonight .. just felt like running .. (what else is new??) I also did 125 crunches, 20 pushups, 20 reverse push ups and dumbbells for the upper arms.

                              All in all, a great day!

                              You are all doing so fabulous!! Diana, Sarah and Rach, your support and encouragement means so much to me!!
