    Busy busy busy day. Cooked, cleaned, banked, post office and grocery store today. Sofa finally delivered today! Kids are in town and their friends are dropping by as well! I love it!! I miss having the busy-ness! Anyway, no workout today. Going to have to get up in the morning and get it in!

      Ok...I am totally hooked!! I have been soooo busy all day that I thought I would not get to SI6. When I finally finished my husbands apple pie it was 11:15 pm. I crazily still wanted to do SIU ( who am I ???) Anyway...I started at 11:30 and finished at 12:30 (which day do I count it for?) Just kidding!! Well I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving day tomorrow, take care!

          I can't believe that I am doing this...I am moving up to Ramp It Up this morning. My original plan was to Start It Up for two weeks, but I did the entire workout last night (plie for plie, lunge for lunge) without even getting winded. It's time to move on.

          What's on the menu for Thanksgiving today at your house? I just wanted to know what different regions ate for the traditional Thanksgiving feast.
          At my mom's house it is:
          turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce (homemade), brocolli casserole (LC this year) , sweet potato souffle, butterbeans, rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and fruitcake along with new stuff this year: brocolli salad (LC), cauliflower casserole (LC), and sweet potato salad (my sister is on weight watchers). Can you guess which three items I am bringing? All LC, of course. And, no, I am not telling anyone that they are LC.

            Debbie won this morning. I didn't have the focus to complete RIU morning so no points for me. I am tempted to declare a day off from Si6 but I have hours left in my day to get my groove back. I will report in later.

              First day Ramp It Up: Is that woman crazy? Can she stop talking so she can keep up with the count??

              Jog in place??? Doesn't she mean drink water in place??

              I did the best that I could, but I alternated all of the lunges and did not do the ones where you just bounce up and down in the lunge. On the *sscrampers, I alternated every 8 counts. How are you supposed to keep your abs in while you are doing those??

              Although I did not make it through the complete workout without major modifications, I am still counting today.

              The good news is: Only one set of plies, the video is only 46 minutes long.
              The bad news: Where are my toe touches?? I love the toe touches. I need the toe touches.

                OK- so it is super hard to get back into doing after you have taken off a few days from it!!!! I haven't done it for 4 days and OMG! I just didn't feel like putting up with the whole video.... but I did anyway and now I am glad. I needed to... I am not cheating today sataying legal but I am sure I will eat more calories than normal... I am making lots of goodies with cream cheese, sour cream, etc!

                Hope you all have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

                  And for the ab work during the a$$crampers, just keep your abs tight and the leg movement controlled, if you can't keep up with their speed or the reps, that's okay..just remember the form is the most important right now. And I would for sure count the all of the minutes toward your workout...you did it even with alternating some of the movements!

                        ROTFLMAO, OMG, i totally think this all the time. I always take those jog in place moments and march while gulping down tons of water, i do try to fit in a few jogs in there though, I find it helps with working the tightness out of your legs in preperation for the other set coming up.

                        Enjoy RiU, it works, and "is so effective" she cracks me up when she says this, doesn't she know another word for effective, I should send her a thesaurus for Christmans, lol, I am so mean, sorry.

                          Good news ladies! I measured this morning and since the challenge started I have lost 6 inches! Woohoo! I had noticed major shrinkage but couldn't find my measuring tape for the life of me. Finally got my hands on it this morning and measured. I am really surprised to see these results after 13 workouts though, that is so fantastic. Imagine what it will be after 36!!! What I most happy about is that I lost 1/2" from my waist, 1/2" from each thigh, and 1 1/4" from my hips. Woohoo! I think I lost more then this, but unfortunatly I didn't measure my butt before, lol, I know that's shrinking too.

                          Has anyone else measured?

                              Yoly-Congrats on your inches lost! You have earned it. Love your thesaurus idea. I will giggle all day thinking about it.


                              Thanksgiving at our house is off to a rough start. I am making a second pumpkin pie because I somehow turned off the oven during the first one and I didn't know how to turn the pumpkin soup into a edible pie.

                              Still debating if I should re-attempt Si6 for today. I am so lethargic and I haven't even done anything. I will see what this afternoon brings.

                                One round of Thanksgiving Ramp It Up done. Yeah!! Scale's not being kind to me. I'd swear off weighing, except since I'm basically on premaintenance, I can't aford to let little eating mistakes pile up into a big gain. So I weigh every day just to keep track of things.
