    I'm here!

    I decided to mix things up a little bit and did Tone it Up. What a great workout. It's a killer in its own special sadistic way, but I like it better than BIU. It's weird though. I can still do everything in these routines - plies, squats, arm work, abs, etc. - EXCEPT those killer lunges. I guess my quads are in serious need of some work!

      I'm here!!! Yes, I was thinking that, but I didn't want to be the 1st one to say it!!! And has anyone noticed the guy Stef, yes my name is stephanie, is always trying to catch a glimpse of debbies bootay? Maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, maybe he's looking at her moves, but either way, it's comical!!

        You know what, I've heard that there are 2 1st programs..start it up and burn it up...which do you guys have???? I read in another post SIU was harder, but who has both??? I have SIU here..and it hurts!

          Stephanie - There are two programs, Slim in 6 and Slim Series.

          Slim in 6 is three routines: Start it Up, Ramp it Up, and Burn it Up. There are two different versions of Start it Up. An older one that's about an hour long, and a newer one that's about 25 minutes. After doing Start it Up for about a week, you move on to Ramp it Up and then Burn it Up.

          The Slim Series is 6 other routines, which are meant to be done after you complete and hopefully master the 6 weeks of Slim in 6. The Slim Series videos are Tone it Up, Tear it Up, Shape it Up, Mix it Up, Firm it Up, and Cool it Off. HTH!

            ohhhhh. okay. I have Si6, and the start it up was an hour. YIKES!!! Which do you have?

              Ok, another day of BIU completed. I only have another 5 more sessions to go, but I'm really into this now! This morning was a hard start, and my body just dragged for the first 20 minutes, but boy the sweat did continue, and my towel is definately a necessity.

                JSJ: Welcome, welcome, welcome to the house of pain! I am laughing about what you said about SIU. It is so true "now faster". She does love those plies! We will all tell you that SIU has the most plies. In RIU, there are only 2 minutes of plies. It is like a vacation!
                Steph checking out the booty? This may be the reason that takes me back to BIU.

                No exercise for me today -- well, not this morning anyway. As you can see, I slept late. Yep. I didn't get up until almost 5:00AM. My body is in shock!

                1 more day of teaching and then I'm with you guy Burning It Up!

                    You guys make me feel like a total slacker.... I am taking a rest day again today because I think I hurt my back cleaning the other day... I am sore all over and that is the only thing I could think of that I possibly could've done to hurt it... oh well.... I will get my 24 workouts done and soon!!!! PLUS tom stopped in this morning and is draggin me down!

                        I went home and popped in Ramp it Up yesterday, I was sneezing, coughing, and wheezing through the first part of it and I had to stop. I'm gonna try again, but I feel a low grade fever and I've got some bad sneezing and sniffeling going on, grrr!

                          Good for you Barb,with single digits, you can see an end in sight!
                          BIU completed for another morning, but the floor exercises were a killer today for me. I have been fighting this cold for over a week now, and it seems to be slowing me down a bit. I'm a bit afraid of pushing too hard, as I usually do, but at least I'm still building up a sweat!

                            I'm also really really really really really really sick. This sucks.

                            I'm hoping to be back in by Monday. I'm down until at least then though. I can't even breathe Moving from room to room leaves me sucking wind and choking right now.


                            I'll check back later to catch up. I have to go run kids to a wrestling meet and then go to a choir concert tonight, and from there straight to work- cuz I wasn't having enough fun being freakin' miserable. *sigh*

                            I love my children. I do. I do. I do. LOL

                              the wonderful kids in my class decided to give their favorite teacher a present. Did they give me candy? no. Did they give me flowers? no. Perfume? no. The crud? Yes! My throat, ears and head ache and my nose is running. The little brats waited until the day before our Christmas Holidays to make me sick. Now I can't even take off sick days and stay home. Thanks a lot, kids!

                                I'm so sorry for everyone who's sick!! I'm not sick, but now both knees are killing me, so today is a complete rest day. I thought about doing Cool it Off, but I think even that would be a mistake. So, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to break the 2 digit barrier.

                                I'll be away for awhile, so I may not manage daily check-ins, but I'll still be working out!
