I had the same problem, I'd just alternate by straightening out my arms for a few and then back down again...it helped. But, the cushy mat would probably do the trick!

Hey. My butt cheek on the leg that is on the ground side is the one that hurts while working out the other leg?! Is that wrong?

Well I think both legs get a good work out 'cause the one on the ground is holding up all the weight.

Thanks for the welcome BoxerMom. I did it. I did RIU for the first time. It's a really good workout.

So I keep doing RIU until I feel that I'm ready to move onto BIU? Is that right?

                  Hey wanna,

I just moved up the Burn it Up because Yoly dared us!

But, I've been changing them up a bit. I have that other set of si6 (Tone and Shape It Up) and I've been flip flopping those with the Ramp and Burn It Up...I like the RIU because of the ab work, the Tone It Up uses a lot more weights, Shape It Up is similar to Ramp It Up, just another 30 minutes longer and Burn It Up is just hard and concentrates more on the legs and a$$ (IMO)...

I think everyone else is sticking to one and moving up as they feel more comfortable...but what can I say, I'm a rebel!

Wow - You can tell that Wanna joined the thread - It grew three pages while I was watching TV! Welcome to our pain, Wanna, and hi from a former lurker.

I must be insane, because I did SIU tonight after doing RIU and SIL this morning. I'm starting to adjust to RIU, so I felt like I needed to do something a little extra. That's 9 workouts done - I'm 1/4 of the way there!

BoxerMom, thanks for the compliment! For the longest time, I didn't exercise on Atkins, telling myself that because I work full time and have young children, there's just no time. But now that I've finally started exercising regularly, I've found that I feel so good and my stress level is so much lower that it's well worth making time for it.

I have to do that with the straightening the arms too, but it is not that my knee is hurting, I seem to somehow get to feeling like my body is "twisted" or something?

OK I have a question for those of you using weights instead of the bands. What size weights are you using?
This is so weird. I did not have a problem with the bands in SIU and RIU but cannot get through the BIU with the bands. I switched to 5lb weights, but forget getting through the trapezius(oops meant tricep) stuff with those. So yesterday I went to 3 pounders. I was able to get through with just a little discomfort. I was wondering if I am a wimp?? LOL.
