    Ran Tonight, I completed it, but not without feeling awful instead of great. The last 20 minutes going up hill killed me. My legs wanted to stop, I was completely out of energy and my face is burning red. That is TOTALLY not like me. Wow. The only thing I can think off, is that I had a very late start to my day eating, and only got in 2 meals. Although veggies in each, I ran at 7pm and ate when I got back. My carbs were only about 14 up to that point for the day. I'm sure that didn't help. Wow, nasty...but I did it LOL.

    I can't wait to be into the Rungs, will help my runs for sure.

      Hi Taylor and everybody. How is running going? I ran my 10 K today but somewhat slow. Just did not have enough umph. I always like it when I finish them though.

        Good for you!.
        When I ran on Wednesday this week, I felt so weak and couldn't even finish 1K. I walked the rest of way feeling horrible. On Thursday, I fell behind my running group and was last to finish our run not that ..being last bothered me, but I knew I was last because I didn't have the energy nor the stamina to complete the run. I left really upset and bothered and angry at myself for gaining this weight.

        Late Thursday night after some research in trying to run and work out on Atkins I decided that my running, exercise and starting my cross training was just as important as diet and losing weight and eating healthy. The low carbs just isn't working for me with the other things I want to start and participate in daily. I poured myself a bowl of fiber cereal with 2% milk and ate that and drank a lot water. I' made a decision to eat from all food groups, making healthy choices, small meals per day and eating more for a runner and person who wants to gain lean muscle mass.

        On Friday morning, I had an amazing run and ran 5k and didn't want to stop. This morning I finished with my running group right at the front and I feel so much better.

        I love atkins, it was working helping me lose weight, it's just that I want to also run seriously and work out with weights seriously at the same time I was losing and low carb was just not working.

          That is too bad Taylor. Maybe some kind of comprise would work. Say if you ate more fat and more carbs but still did the atkins carbs. Well maybe that is something to try should you decide you want to jump on again. I love running too and I can understand it being important. Hope it works out for you.

            Hey guys Monday I ran 3.5 miles and today Tuesday I got in 2 miles.

            Hopefully I can be consistent and keep it up.

                Way to go whereami.
                I run pretty regulary - three or four times a week. Always with a day rest in between. One of the runs are usually longer (10k) and the others are 6 K.
                The other day I had a fall - face plant but I was OK. Skinned my knee and a bit stiff. Stayed away from exercise yesterday but back to it today and ran 6 K. I payed attention. No more falling

                  Aww man liv sorry about the fall but glad you got back up to running so quickly!

                  I usually take a break too but given the weight gain lol I was trying to run daily but today I missed my run cuz I went to get my hair straighted which took 3 hours and then family invited us to dinner for chinese.

                  I just hope that kung pao chicken didnt have sugar in it lol or else im dead again.

                    I did 10 K in the early morning sunshine. 10K feels like my max. My knees are pretty tired by the end of it. But I always feel so good after the stretching. And when I have a nice whey shake after life is perfect. I am ready for the rest of my day.
