  • Sign up for #50 6 Week Exercise Challenge

    It's that time again, believe it or not!

    The #50 6WEC will begin on Sunday, January 25 and runs through Saturday, March 7. You have 1 week to sign up.


    There is a cut off date for signing up and being charted so please read the official rules
    Official 6WEC Rules and Where To Measure.
    The rules are adjusted every so often so please read them to be updated on any changes.


    Sign up!
    1. Tell us how many days a week you will commit to exercising.

    2. Make a note of your beginning measurements. You do not have to post them here, in this thread, if you aren't comfortable doing that. Just be sure to write them down someplace safe to compare with your measurements at the end of the challenge. Click here for a picture that shows you where to measure. The following stats are the only ones that will be considered for the ribbon awards.

    -Under arms, around chest
    -Fullest part of chest
    -Ribcage
    -Waist
    -Hips
    -Upper arm x 2
    -Thigh x 2
    -Weight

    Don't forget to check in!
    1. Look for a new thread each day in this forum. It will be titled something like "6WEC#50, Week 1, Day 1, Sunday, January 25"

    2. Tell us whether you exercised, took a rest day or a sick day.

    3. PLEASE try to post daily! If you can not post daily, please try to post at least a couple times a week.

    2 Ways to win something!
    1. The 3 Challengers who lose the most will earn a ribbon. Winners are determined first by inches and then by pounds.

    2. Those who complete all 6 weeks of the challenge without getting slugged will earn a slug free button. Sick days do not count as slugs.

    What's a slug, you ask?
    A slug is something you don't want to earn. If you are signed up for 4 days. that means you have 3 spare days. If you take 4 rest days in a week, there is no way you can exercise 4 days so one of the rest days would be a slug day. If you earn even 1 slug during the entire 6 weeks challenge, you can not earn the slug free button. however, even if you get slugged, you would be eligible for a ribbon if your losses are good enough.

                  I'm in and I'm going to challenge myself with 5 days a week this time! I'll post my measurements after the current challenge ends.
