          Four days, thanks so much!
          149.8/no weigh/ 119



          1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
          what the rungs mean to me:
          rung 1 - more veggies
          rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
          rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
          rung 4 - berries, melon
          rung 5 - wine -
          rung 6 - beans, hummus
          rung 7 - other fruits
          rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
          rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
          Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
          (on to pre-maintenance)

            Ok, my measurements are: 25 January 2009
            Weight- 174lbs
            -Under arms, around chest- 37 inches
            -Fullest part of chest- 38.8 inches
            -Ribcage- 34 inches
            -Waist- 31.4 inches
            -Hips- 41.5 inches
            -Upper arm x 2- 26 inches
            -Thigh x 2- 49.6 inches
            Total Inches: 258.3

              don't forget, if you will be trying for one of the three ribbons, take measurements and jot them down so you have your comparison in 6 weeks.

                          First, I would like to say thank you so much jimmie48 for the challenge! I know it's a lot of work keeping up with stats and changes week after week.

                          I would also like to change my commitment to 5 days a week. I originally went for 3 because I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep up with that due to my kids constantly being sick. I figured I would go ahead and go with the days I usually go to the gym anyway. If I make it there, awesome, but if something hinders that, then it's OK.

                          Here are my starting measurements...

                          Chest (under arms): 44
                          Chest (fullest part): 45.5
                          Ribcage: 43
                          Waist: 45
                          Hips: 46.5
                          Upper arm: L-15, R-15
                          Thigh: L-27, R-27.5

                          Weight: 250

                          I hope this all changes soon!

                            48" 1. Around your chest, under your arms
                            50" 2. Fullest part of chest/breast, across nipples
                            43" 3. Ribcage, just below breast
                            44" 4. Waist, narrowest part
                            52 1/2" 5. Hips, widest part
                            31" 6. Thigh, about 3 inches down from crotch
                            17" 7. Bicep, midway between shoulder and elbow

                            plus I also added these:
                            48" 8. lower belly
                            53" 9. widest around thighs, under butt(read: thunderthighs)
                            18" 10.calf

                            Have done 9 minutes on elliptical today, and plan to put in a bellydance dvd and see what I can do with my middle, the fun way

                            Yesterday, I did do a nice brisk walk out on our property, but not sure if I should count it or not.
