Funnily enough... have had no TOM for three months (am 51) and had a few hot flashes and things. Started Atkins three weeks ago, and bang! Suddenly a period again. I put it down to menopause inching in, rather than the diet though... I hope!

I think I would put it down to the diet and its affect on estrogen. I resumed getting hot flashesh after I had long ago forgotten them.

          Menopause Cake recipe please

Hi all. Would love the cake recipe. My doctor has had me on DHEA as I do not want to take traditional HRT due to family history of cancer. DHEA has been wonderful, only issues is that it has not been totally researched yet, however, I had such menopausal crazies I would have taken cyanide if they told me to! Isanyone else taking DHEA??

Cake recipe please whether it is Atkins friendly or not :icondance
