Deflating Diva is in! l will do my best and will not use excuses not to exercise. ( Is Sex exercise?) I will drink my water and will not stuff my face even with the extra little servings of legal food for example.. just a couple more pork skins. I will not be afraid to go into the pool even if I do have ugly purple veins and cottage cheese thighs that chafe at high temps. I will beg all men in the CC for pics :no . I may even go so far as to bat my eyes at Papa Jack. Yummy!

Short term goal is ONDERLAND and then some.

Long term to be at GOAL by my birthday (Oct) or Christmas

Motivation daily is FEAR! LOL!!! Honestly, I do fear that 1 slip will send me off to being ji-normous again. So pure object terror works for me! LOL!!

My short term summer goal is to get my weight moving down again. I've been at a stall for the past 4 months.

My long term goal is to get all my medical problems resolved and start beefing up my exercise routine.

I carry my old pictures with me. (In my purse). I look at them everyday and that is enough to keep me motivated.

What are your short term summer goals? I've been stuck at 242 forever. My short term summer goal is to get into the low 230's.

Your long term goals? My first long term goal, is to get to Onederland. My ultimate goal is to get down to 145 pounds, and have a regular exercise program. I know exercise makes me feel phsycially and emotionaly healthy.

How do you all get motivated to keep it clean each day?? I just know it's what's best for me. I also know how physically and emotionally bad I feel after a cheat. Especially right now, being the end of the month at work, my life is a little extra stressful anyway. Why make it worse by making choices that will make me feel bad?

                      Hiya gang!

Let's see.... my short-term goal is to be at 170 by the end of August.

Long-term goal.... now this is hard being as I want to be realistic about it. I dream of being 135 by Christmas. I am sitting here thinking that that is not gonna happen because I have been so slow at this. Ya know what?! I'm gonna stick to that weight by that date. What the heck!

I am motivated by the fact that I am sick and tired of being fat. I really think if I don't lose it now I never will.

                      Have a great day everyone,

My short term goal is to get in Onderland as well....however, anything under 210 would be grand!!!!! I hope to at least be close to Onderland at the end of summer -

My long term goal is to stay on plan - continue to lose weight until my body just seems to be at the right weight. Also to always leave old food addictions behind!

The only way I'm able to stick with this right now is through this board and all of the support. I also have my two daughters on Atkins and we are like a team! It's easier when your not alone!

                        Pamela

                        Restarted January 17, 2009 @ 310.5 pounds; As of Sept 21, 2009 I am now 243 lbs!!!!!! 66.5 lbs GONE !!!!!!!!

                        SECOND GOAL 199;
                        THIRD GOAL 150!!!!!!!!!! (times undetermined)

I guess I should answer these too huh?? lol

What are your short term summer goals?
I want to see Onderland... I am so close but I feel so far away. And the more I kick up my exercise, the harder it seems to be to move that scale...GRRRRR

                          Your long term goals?

I want to be in the best health possible for my age! I would love to be off medications, but I realize with genetics playing a major role, I may never be completely off them. But that's OK. Atleast my BP is under control with much less meds than I started with. I eventually want to be around 150 lb's.
How do you all get motivated to keep it clean each day??
My grandkids and my daughter live with me. Every time I look into the eyes of one of the boys, I am more determined than ever, to watch them grow up and have children of their own. Also my daughter is very encouraging with exercising and reminding me to drink my water.
But most of all, this board! Coming here each day and interacting with others who have the same goals, and genuinely want to keep this WOL, is what spurs me on!

You are all doing so wonderfully. Thanks to each of you for your encouragement and motivation. We can do this!!

I would like to ask each of you, to invite at least one Member to join our challenge. There are so many struggling on a daily basis that may not even know we are here. We can help them too!! I think, no, I know, that it was a challenge and support system like this that encouraged me last summer to get cracking and Clean up my act!! This is an open participation challenge and everyone is welcome to join in at any time.
Tell us your favorite recipe's... Give us your tips and tricks that help you endure this season. Let's get out there and find the lost souls and new Members that have yet to learn about us...

Thanks ya'll... I am so proud of each of you...

My short term goal is to get squeeky clean again and to get out of the 340's

My long term goal is to break 300 and reach "Two"terville for the first time in over a decade!!

How do I stay motivated - The tape measure and my measurement log. I look at where I started, where I am, and I know this works.

Anyone have their body fat measured? I just had mine redone after 10 weeks of regular exercise (aka running twice a week). the scale didn't move, the inches were negligible 1/4 here 3/8 there BUT, I dropped from 36.3 to 35% body fat---YEA! Of course my little bathroom scale keeps telling me it's really 40-41% based on impedence and mybodycomp.com says it's 46%!

Oh the coolest thing was she gave me a mini fit test and my recovery heart rate 10 weeks ago was 109 which is ok, but today it was 89! WOO HOO!
