Hey Chopper... You did a GREAT job during this challenge. You should be proud of your accomplishment. Even though you didn't hit your "goal" you are well on your way and that's the most important thing. Good for you for staying strong through the holidays! Doesn't it feel awesome to be in control and not craving all the junky food?!

Was the treadmill a Christmas present? Have fun with it and keep checking back for the exercise challenge. It should be starting soon.

Well, I've kind of been dreading this but I need to announce that I'm definitely not going to make my first challenge. Sigh... didn't lose an ounce since my last weigh in...

I guess I may have mis-judged a little since I joined this challenge when the weight was still dropping off pretty fast. Now it's slowed to a crawl.. 1 to 2 lbs a week seems to be the norm.

Unfortunately I'm here to report that I'm still at exactly 256 with no loss for the last week. Definitely not a stall but a "sticking" point for sure. I was a good boy over the holidays however I think I may have went a little high on overall calories on Christmas Day. We started with a big breakfast, kind of nibbled all day and ended with Prime rib and asparagus (asparagus covered in mayo of course)... Jeeezzz my mouth waters just thinking about it!!

Anyway, I'm not too discouraged as I still feel great with absolutely no cravings whatsover so I'm here to stay. WOE for life this time for sure!!

O.K. What's next?? I'm definitely all over an exercise challenge as I just recently started a weight training program and my new treadmill will be here in a few days!! Just let me know and I'm in.
Chopper-Sounds like you got the right attitude. Heck when was the last time we all made it through a holiday season without gaining weight. Staying even during the holidays is still a victory.

      Thanks Liz and Ca
t-4 pounds to go or not I can't complain. While I would love to lose weight faster 1-3 lbs. a week is fine with me. I'm in a good place right now. Have a good night everyone.

I weighed this morning and have lost 1.1 pounds over the holiday week. Not as much as I was hoping for but I will definitely take it!

That puts me 0.7 pounds shy of my challenge goal. I was so close! I'll probably weigh in the morning just to see if I can knock those off today.

I'm with Chicklady Roger. That is awesome!!! I bet you're like those people on the weight loss informercials who say their spouses can't keep their hands off of them (has your wife been bragging about you).

My final weigh-in this morning for this challenge was 205; down from 220.5. I'm 5.5 below my goal weight. I'm happy because I thought I was pushing my luck pledging the 10 pounds. I LOVE this WOL.

I've got my Mom on board (for the last month and a half) and now 2 aunts are joining me in the New Year by doing Atkins. This WOL rocks.

Ok Liz. Tally us up!! How did we do as a team?

Liz, Catrenia, Chicklady (and everyone else). I really think we all did great. I really enjoy the bond we have all developed as part of the Century Club. It's nice to be part of such a wonderful team of people. I am truly excited about 2008 and what's a head for all us.

126 pounds lost by such a small group is great. Everyone who participated should be very proud of what they accomplished. For those who fell off the wagon, it's okay just get back on today, not tomorrow.
