    So what's next?...
Just thought I'd check in to see what everyone's got going. Did everyone "measure-in"?
Well, Just got word that I may be moving back home to Michigan! I am thrilled!!!! The only drawback is that we don't know for sure until Friday, and the date my DH would start in Michigan id March 7th! That does not give us a lot of time to figure everything out... Oh well, It'll be worth it. I may be checking in less frequently, but I'll be sure to get my monday weigh ins done! Wish me luck! :wave

      Hey there girlie!!!

That's cool about the possible move...though not much time to actually do it. I'll send good thoughts your way. Too bad we can't all come over and help you pack. A pirate packing party would be sooooo fun!! Just make sure that even if you don't post as much, you stay on plan....or else we'll chase you down and make you walk the plank!

I'm gonna write down everyone's measurements. Then when we check in on Monday's, I can give a total of pounds or inches lost. How does that sound??

I'm having a decent week...but for some reason I've been soooo hungry. It's strange. Only eating acceptable foods, though. :nod

      How's everyone else??

          Good afternoon everyone....

I am doing fine but seem to be stuck in a stall. I am in ketosis and have started the middle of last week with at minimum 64oz daily and exercise. I think it is my cheese consumption. I am going to cut it out and see what kind of effect that may have.

Miss Independence, what part of Michigan are you moving to?

Welcome back to our beautiful state! Home of Vernors and paczkis, the state where we drink "pop" instead of "soda" . . .

Hmm, on second thought, maybe I'd do better on this WOE if I leave Michigan . . .

Well, Dirty Ann Flint (lol) I'm going back to Grand Rapids. I was born and raised in Bay City, but after I got married we moved to GR. The farther away from the in-law's the better! (My Mom and I call them the out-law's) No, really thaey are nice people, just VERY intrusive, i think MIL is a control freak...
But I do miss being close enough to family to visit on weekends, rather than planning a whole vacation to go "home". We are really looking forward to the move back. DH's final interview is on Friday, so we should know by Monday for sure. I've been looking for homes to rent, but the online resources aren't very good.

Edited to add: My last name ends in -ski so the fat Tuesday celebration was VERY hard this year. But fitting into new jeans was VERY cool. Also, I can't wait to not get a funny glance when I ask, "What kind of diet pop do you serve?" mmmmmmmmmmmmVerners

Okay, my lovely shipmates!!! Sounds like everyone has had a challenging week, me included. We need to rest and relax!!! What are your plans for the weekend?

My son and I are going to a gem, mineral and fossil show. He's so excited, and has been saving his money for months. Of course I have the usual grocery shopping, house cleaning and clothes washing. lol

uhmmmm... I think we're going to my dad's for dinner on Saturday (which is usually a long affair with him, his SO, and her daughter who's 9) and the cats and the dogs and my son... then Sunday my son's grandmother comes over to visit, then we're prolly going up to visit a friend of mine who's been begging me to come see him... Then somewhere in between all that I'll squeeze in doing dishes, making dinners for the week, doing laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping. Geez, I'm making myself tired just thinking about it, maybe I should go to bed now to prepare.

By the way, At the Gem show, if they have any diamond type gems, feel free to pick me up a couple

I don't know about you guys but it must be a full moon or something. Work has been horrible, I've been thinking about quitting for a couple years now and then for awhile it's ok and I convince myself it's just me and then there it is again, like it has been all week, many many reasons to leave and I just keep telling myself it's easier to stay and stick it out then to find something else and start at the bottom again. The good thing about all this is that it's become very clear that I've used my frustration in the past as an excuse to eat anything I wanted but not this week. More then once the thought crossed my mind to find the nearest chocolate bar/ice cream (whatever) and comfort myself but instead I hung in there and ate a hard boiled egg white and drank another bottle of water and the temptation passed. I'm proud of that, if nothing else, I've learned somethng about myself this week. So this weekend I'm planning on relaxing, at least as much as my 7 year old will allow that to happen..lol We don't have anything particular planned other then a trip to the park on Saturday if it doesn't rain and I'm hoping to get some knitting in, it's hypnotically relaxing to me and if I don't get this scarf and poncho done for my sister soon it will be too warm to wear them (as she likes to remind me). Hope you guys are having a good week, I'll be sending "relaxation vibes" your way this weekend. :wave

:wave Is it too late to join in the fun on this ole pirate ship? I posted an intro last week on the other board
but haven't been able to do much posting due to an injured hubby! But, at least he is on this journey
                        with me now.

Here be my scores for Mon 14th:

                              Hips: 54.5
                              Waist: 45.5
                              Chest: 49.5
                              Weight: 257
                              inches lost this week: 1"
weight loss this week: 3 lb

I didn't exercise near as much as I normally do. Halfway through the week I got sick, then I threw my lower back out on Saturday. I can see chiropractor tomorrow though, so I'll be fixed up in a jiffy. I'm a little mad, haven't had any back problems for well over a year.

So....I trust everyone had a decent weekend? Or not? Fess up!!!

DS and I went to gem show. I tried to get a few "free samples" for ya'll, but the police and security guards were everywhere!!! He had a ball, and we must've walked several miles...the show was huge, and we walked back and forth several times. I bought a new Hematite thumb ring, and DS bought all sorts of stuff, plus he got loads of different gems and rocks at the kids booths. Oh...and I got a tiny enameled "tooth fairy" box. It's sooooo neat.

Otherwise, it rained for most of the weekend, and I did lots of low-carb cooking yesterday. Made a vegetable quiche for the first time...it was yummy!!

TOM is still visiting, so I haven't measured for this week. Can't wait for him to leave.

                                :hug

                                So....how is everyone else??
