Thanks Becky. I'm holding pretty steady at about a pound per week. I'll take it! I haven't hit a plateau at all since I started, but I don't get whooshie's either. Hopefully I'll get some inches moving again soon. I'm getting a new gate analysis done this week followed by some new athletic orthotics then I'll be running again! Every time I say I'm getting 'athletic' orthotics, I crack up. I mean me...athletic....I never imagined, but I guess I am! Weight training three times a week, cycling 10K twice a week, swimming twice a week and soon running on top of it all 2-3 times a week. Plus throw in my pilates I do and my new exercise ball workout a cople of times a week too. I love this WOE!

It's been pretty quiet around here lately.
I have been eating on plan, but I haven't been exercising like I should. so my weight has been holding at around 198 -196. Today it is 196.
I plan on working out on DH soloflex as soon as I finish writing this post. I am really watching what I am eating and writing it down. So there is no carb creep going on here.
After I fell and hurt myself, I just lost my momentium. I couldn't go walking while seeing double and I didn't want others to stare at me and believe me they did that. :yikes
So I am re-dedicating myself to do my very best to get this weightloss ball a rolling. Let me know how you all are doing!!!

Hello Team!! Glad that everyone is doing so well. Wow, on the big loss Isabeau!! Your doing great!! My ol' body has finally slowed way down in the weight loss. I'm still losing inches each month though, so I'm not complaining.
Last weekend I went to Idaho with three friends for a weekend of writing and relaxing. We had a great time. Two of the women are on Weight Watchers. Its funny when we all get together. I eat the Atkins way, they eat the WW way and the other girl doesn't follow a plan and eats everything. We are always joking about it.
I know I haven't been around too much, but I am planning a conference for the league and it takes just about all of my spare time organizing and planning the workshops, speakers, menus and etc.
Hope everyone has a funtastic weekend. Lets all pray for whooshies and maybe we'll have some more goodnews to report on Monday!!

Just checking in. Life keeps happening... things are incredibly harsh right now. Wish I could say I have stood firm through it.. we will see. I am NOT weighing in until the 13th, so it will be a surprise. Iw ould be unsurprised to see a gain though.
ANy thoughts on what to eat, when all your stomach wants to tolerate is soup and mashed potatoe like foods?
Gotta go feed kiddos, this meal is pork roast and artichoke, so for tonight, anyway, I am doing good.

I will be anxious to see how you did on the 13th. I have been pretty much at a standstill for a few months.

Ok Sexy Sixers, more whining from me. So...my knee/leg pelvis stuff is all fixed up. Yay!!! I love my chiropractor! But a week ago Monday I wake up with a kind of stiff neck. No problem...I figure I must have slept weird or something. By Wednesday, the pain in my neck and shoulder is excrutiating. I happened to have to go to see my chiro. for my last leg appointment and pick up my spanky new orthotics, so I mentioned the neck thing to him. Well, to make a long story short, not only did I mess up a spot at the back of my neck, I also have a rib injury just below my shoulder blade and a ruptured bursa in the same shoulder joint. He thinks I may also have a rotator cuff injury. The pain is honestly unbearable. It's been a week and a half now and there are nights I have been in tears. The pain radiates all the way down to my fingers. I can't sleep at night because I can't put my arm in a comfortable position. I went to see my family doctor who concurs with my chiro's assessment. So now even more heavy duty anti-imflammatories (which make me sick to my stomache), muscle relaxants (which totally knock me out) and icing the area 3-5 times a day. Sheesh!!! Needless to say I haven't been able to do any exercise during this entire time. My leg's ready to run, but the impact jars my shoulder. Swimming is out (they think swimming caused it!!), weight training out, cycling out....and yesterday was my birthday and I just felt horrid. I'm still eating my Atkins though, no problem. Don't know how much I'll contribute to the team for our next weigh in though. Sorry for the whiney post. Hope you all are doing well.

OH NO!!! Isabeau!!!
Not you too. So many of us are having health issues.
I called Becky this evening and she is supposed to get her medical tests reports tomorrow. She sounded better than she did last evening. I was sure glad. I was afraid she was going to be in the hospital getting a blood transfusion today. Thank goodness she was home and resting.
OK! SEXY SIXERS!! We got to stay on plan. We can eat just what we are supposed to, this is one thing we can control. We can't control things like my fall on my face(accident), Becky's female problems, Isabeau's injuries,and kime not feeling well either, to name a few. But we can eat on plan.

Today is report day, the 11th. One more month til this challenge is over.
I don't have any progress to report. Same as last month. weight and measurements.
I am eating on plan and exercising, but the ol body seems to want to stay the same for some reason. Only it knows and it's not tellin!!!

I thought I'd better update you on my condition so that you don't think I've jumped off the wagon or croacked.
I was hemmoraging for about 3 weeks, they didn't know what was going on with me. I went to the hospital and had tests done (blood work and ultrasounds and pelvis probes). It showed nothing. My blood work was perfect and no signs of tumors. They even did a bone scan and I have no signs of Osteoporosis. They said I don't need extra calcium, that whatever I am doing is great and to keep it up. (I thank Atkins cause I never took calcium supplements before).
Anyways, they put me on estrogen. It didn't work. They put me finally on seasonal (birth control pills) and it is working. I am supposed to meet with a gynochologist next month and get a small procedure done called a abitration of the uterus. That is supposed to make it all better. (I hope)
Anyways, this had nothing to do with Atkins. In fact, the doc said if I hadn't lost the weight I did, it would have been worse. So thank goodness, I am back on my feet and will start walking again soon.Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

That's good news from your osteo scans.
I have been working on my computer most of the day.
Dang Computer problems. It will take me awhile to get all the tings uninstalled and re-installed.
I did reinstall the software for my printer, scanner and they work. I got Adobe reader reinstalled.
I have one problem. I tried to reinstall my microsoft works with MS Word. And word doesnt' work. So I guess in a few days I will do it over and see if it works then.
this is about to drive me bonkers. wish I had someone that knew alot about computers. I have learned by trial and error. Wish me luck. I really hate to spend the money for a new one, even if this one is 2001 HP from Walmart.
Long story, guess you have probably figured my computer crashed from trojon horses and spy ware, malware. I visited an infected web site and got zaped. I dont have a firewall.
So much for me.
My weight is the very same, 196. So I am staying the same, but at least not going up.

Atkins is still working!! I weighed myself this morning...still 183...no weight loss at all in the past few months. I felt a bit upset and started making up excuses since I've been unable to exercise. I haven't cheated on the eating part of my plan...
Then...I decided to take my measurements. I expected to see an increase since I haven't done anything. Well, I got a big surprise. I've lost another 2 inches!!! This WOE always brings a smile to my face. I am happy again and will start exercising.Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F
