I was so excited when ON started carrying plus sizes. I'd never ordered from their website, though, because I wasn't sure what size I would wear. I wanted to wait and try something on in the store. Only certain stores carry the plus and the one in Nashville is a total pain to get to, but I FINALLY made it over there.
Waste.of.time.
I tried on several pair of pants and they were the worst fitting things I've ever encountered. Evidently, Old Navy thinks that only incredibly tall people are fat. I am 5'5'. I put on "mid calf capris" and they came to my ankles. I put on khakis and I could have made footed sleepers with the left over material that was flapping around my feet. It was unreal. Not to mention that everything was low rise and totally weird-fitting, there, too. I was wearing a 24 and the "waist" was at least 4 inches too big, but there is no way I could have gotten anything smaller in the hips. The length, as I mentioned was atrocious, but the thighs were baggy. Unreal. And they claim to use real people and be true fit?
Thankfully I had better luck at Target where they had some plain old cotton convertable cargos/capris on sale for 9.99. The right length, no gigantic waist, normal fit. And then I found some dress pants at TJ MAxx for way less than I would have paid at Old Navy and much, much nicer.
