Back in 2002 I decided to do atkins because I saw it on 20/20 or 60 minutes (one of them). From August to December, I went from 315 to 230 and a 48 inch waist to a 36. Once the spring semester started, I fell off the wagon and substituded healthy eating and exercise with long nights of studying and fast food. I can't believe that I went from running 4 miles a day to barely being able to walk around the block....
It's pretty depressing, but now that I'm in graduate school, I have managed to baloon back up to 330 and have refused to buy any new clothes at all. For quite a while now, I've been wearing the same three sweat suites and I'm pretty damn tired of it because I have a closet filled to the brim with great clothes.... Problem is, they don't fit.
I've tried to start back up, only to fail towards the end of the day when my addictions take over. I swear, the only way I can describe it is some kind of chemical addiction because I go through the classic signs of a herroin (SP?) addict... It actually makes me fill physically sick.
Do you guys have a list or something that can get me started in the right direction for the first two weeks? I absolutely hate the taste of eggs, thanks to my first run with Atkins, but I'll do what I have to do. I need to get rid of this weight because it is literally killing me. I don't like to go anywhere, do anything, and I can't even do much without being tired out. I just want out of this prision that I made.
