    Well, I'm not the one to beat anyone over the head. When you fall down its a blessing that you can pick yourself up again, that's all I have to say about that. Otherwise, I'm doing good and looking forward to the weekday, don't know why though. Everybody just do your best, because that's all you can do.

      I was pretty good on Saturday. Last night I was just simply dieing -weak and irritable. So I ate some beef and later cream cheese to get past it. I feel better today.

      Terry, I'm sorry your Saturday wasn't great. Try to have a good Sunday!


      The real proof for me will be on Monday morning. If I'm the about same weight or less than my Saturday weigh-in then I succeeded. The problem has been that I'll be 1-3 pounds heavier on Monday (believe me when I say it's not just a simple water fluctuation). I then have to battle all week to get even or lose a little for the week. I finally determined that I've been screwing up on the weekends for the last month or so. So here I am in the Challenge

        It seems to be a pretty successful weekend for most so far. Thats great!

        Bill we may need to do this challenge every weekend and see if it helps you out.

        OK Fin... Ill get my act together. I have heard all about your Mom and believe me... there aint room for 2 of them in this state I live in. :guzzles more water: gulp

        Im flapping the breeze here getting ready to return to work and in need of routine. I will be just fine. Im not about to begin a downward spiral.

          Finally checking in today...been going on high speed all day...first the gym and then working sround the house...totally cheat free for me as far as legal food. Yesterday a little extra legal snacks...egg...piece of celery.

          Today so far I haven't had all that much...not hungry and busy..had a good lunch which was breakfast food as I only get back from the gym at 11:30 so Sundays are a little weird. Getting ready to have some dinner now...lamb shank and a salad.

          I do want to report that I finally weighed myself this morning because tomorrow will be day 14 of induction...I lost 1 pound and I'm thrilled...I feel great and I think some inches "might" have come off...I'll know in another week and a half when I measure.

          My water intake has been huge!! At lesat 120-130 oz per day!

          Let's all keep doing the best we can in the coming week....and beyond

            Monday morning, 9:30 - weekend went fine, drank all my water, watched the carbs, ate my veggies

              Well, I made it through my cheat free weekend of camping but gained two pounds. (See Scale Junkie Depression thread). I am hoping it is just water weight!

                Pjade, I'm also up 2 lbs from the weekend. I'll admit that I didn't drink as much water as I normally do. It's hard to do when you're shopping and restrooms aren't "conveniently" located.


                I did have wine this weekend but I was very conservative with it. I may have gone over on my veggies Saturday by 1/2 C and I know I didn't eat enough otherwise (no meat but a lot of fat).

                Yesterday I didn't drink enough water and probably not quiet enough veggies. It's real hard for me to monitor my percentages because I don't have time on the weekends to get on the computer.

                Anyway, other than the wine, I was cheat free! The 2 lbs will be gone before the week is over. This is the first weekend in months that I didn't gorge on the junk food in my pantry.

                  I give myself a grade of B+ for Friday through Sunday. I usually give myself a D .

                  I gained a half a pound since my Saturday weigh-in so no big deal at all. I usually gain 1-3 pounds.
