Re: Clean induction as of January 1st

Doing well today - starting off with my breakfast of spinach and eggs (my Sicilian grandma used to make this all the time).

Hope everyone else is moving into a good Day 2!

This is my last day off from work and then back to the office, where it will be much easier since I'm usually so busy I have to find time to eat lunch.

Don't forget to eat - have a few legal snacks at hand to keep your blood sugars even.

Re: Clean induction as of January 1st

        Hi Everyone!!!!!!!!
I'm clean on my induction path. I'm feeling great...since I got over the headaches. I'm now trying to figure out how to enter a recipe as an item in the FITDAY software. I should be a tester because if I can accomplish something, anyone should be. So...if anyone knows how to enter a recipe in FITDAY....Please contact me.

        Anyway. Yesterday was
Breakfast 2 scrambled eggs, 3 bacon
lunch Cabbage/sausage soup.....love it....this is what I'm trying to input into Fitday
        Snack 2 venison sticks
Supper Cabbage/sasage soup. I made a big pot...so I'll be eating this alot.

        Cheers to all,
        Mack

Re: Clean induction as of January 1st

Mack it's tedious BUT...you can pick a blank day and put all the ingredients onto it, you'll get a count for nutrition and then create a new food with all those nutrition numbers and save it. What a pain, but heck it works.... I only do it for something I eat a whole lot otherwise I just put in the separate ingredients in their rough proportions from the whole (.25 of an egg if there was only 1 in something and I ate 1/4 of it)...the program needs a bit of work maybe.

          Good luck!

Lavonna, go to www.tickerfactory.com and its pretty easy to do. Welcome, glad you joined.

MACK,,, Cabbage soup, I think you need to put the recipe right here. Oh yum, it sounds delicious and my mouth is squirting..... I'm so glad we have a man joining us, it makes it more fun.

We all need support, so maybe we could team up and watch out for eachother. If someone drops, we go after them. Just look at the list and write down a couple names and then if they don't report in, we can go after them.

Oh, cheatfree yeasterday but listen to this. I went to DD house for dinner and after we sat and watched a (stupid) movie. I was sitting on the couch between my DH and DSIL and holding the bowl of butter dripping popcorn while the two of them dipped in. Can you inhale carbs? Cause I didn't eat one kernal but I sure did a lot of deep sniffing.

I swear what I need is something for the munchies. I unfortunately am allergic to cheese, so that's out.

Oh and Mack be sure you delete it from your blank day ior you will be in for a shock when you get there and log your foods and see your total. I know I forgot when i was figuring muffins and had way too many cals and carbs that day and had to go see if i had the amounts wrong. LOL

Mini meatballs. Crisp bacon or chicken pieces wrapped in bacon and then fried?

What kind of allergy do you have? Lactose? milk protein? I am sesitive to cow milk protein, but I can stomach goat and sheep cheese. (But I couldn't limit myself to 1 oz so that's out of the question for munchies...)

Madoet, do you crave crunchy, creamy or salty. A trick that I learned from Brook was to cut up veggies and put them in a bag and then they would be there for when our head goes into the refrig. Ranch is a good, easy dip....
Also try jicama, its delcious sliced and salted.
