  • Re: Clean induction as of January 1st

I'm having a weird TOM, believe me... but it will get better I hope when we lose the weight. The best I've ever had was on my first attempt on Atkins. One day, very strong, and done with it. Oh I wished I could have that back. Maybe... in the future.

I've had a weird work week, being in and out of the office quite a bit. My water consumption has slowed because of it, but I still managed to get in walking an hour 3 times this week and have been on par with the carbs. Oh, and I lost 1lb too!

Well I do remember weird TOM the first time for the first month or so, but wondered if it would be the same way the second time, since I'm losing less this time I'm thinking the WOE is less shocking to my body....

        Time will tell.....

Good morning to you all, it is day 15!

So.. I made it though 2 weeks. I stepped on the scale this morning and was down half a pound *sigh* so my net loss ist still 5 lbs. But considering the fact that I am in the middle of a weirdo TOM this is just what I knew would happen.

I have decided to have one week more of extended induction, to see what happens when the retained water leaves my body, and to make sure I won't go an dpig out after 2 weeks of clean induction - this will give me the opportunity to follow up on those in this challenge who started later than January 1st.

          How are you doing?

          Have a great Sunday,

Morning. Today is my final day since I started Jan. 2, but tomorrow I start boot camp so I have at least 2 more weeks of clean induction ahead. I was down to 249 this morning which is a pretty hefty drop for induction... 22 pounds or so depending on tomorrow.

Paul, good luck at bootcamp. I am sure you'll find it not only fun, but fasinating also.
Congrats to all who made it thru a cheatfree induciton also. This was fun and maybe we could team up to do another two weeks of extended induction.

I'm in. Do you start a new challenge for this, Desertthorn?

(I will have real coffee, though )

well I really wanted to be able to report and say I did a cheat free induction, but I can't... I had a bad weekend... I made it so close... didn't cheat until Friday..... I didn't weigh myself at all this weekend, but on Friday AM I was downto 217. I will reweigh myself tomorrow and back on the wagon I am going. I wasn't planning on coming off induction anyway, so I guess I will be okay....

A little aggravated with myself, but I guess I really wasn't as wholly into it as I thought. This new job has played a part in all of that also. I haven't been packing snacks and things to take with me. I haven't really had the money to get the stuff I want, but i get 2 paychecks this week so I should be able to help myself out with that...

Congrats to everyone who did make it although I haven't really seen anyone post results... am I not the only one who fell off? C'mon fess up and jump back up with me tomorrow!!!

I'm in for another 2 weeks. I only lost a total of 4 pounds and that keeps bouncing between 3.5 - 4. First time around I lost 7 pounds so it seems that I lost half this time around. Staying on the program but the home made sugar free chocolate in my fridge that I made before going on induction is eyeballing me!! (I make it myself from unsweetened and add splenda and toasted almonds). It will be legal soon but it looks so good (and lonely) sitting there. That will be my goal though to work up to that!!!
