    Good Morning Everyone.. Thanks Di for Starting us off Well after having a migraine from H*** yesterday. I was rewarded with a 3lb Whooshie this morning I will take it. I truly don't want another migraine to have a whooshie again...lol

    I did fine yesterday at the Pizza Party.. I really didn't want any.. The hard part was resisiting the Oreo cookies.. My kids came later then me to the party and they brought me a Chicken Salad from Wendy's. I didn't eat it until later. I really didn't eat a whole lot yesterday I just didn't feel well. Only one person asked me why I wasn't eating.. I said I am not hungry and I have a salad over there I will eat later..

    I will be grabbing another Salad to take with me today for the second bowling party.

      I forgot something... Will my mouth always be this nasty feeling? Or is this something that will one day go away... I am constantly drinking water and brushing my teeth but its always that funny taste...?

        Not sure about the funny taste. I've never had it. Good morning STACer's! Thanks for getting the ball rolling Di!!

        Lets talk turkey! Actually let's talk veggies!! That awesome veggie challenge is going on! Hope your all ready for snacks and such. Planning is everything when it comes to the way of life, that's for sure.

        Sorry I haven't been around much friends, working in the recording studio like a madman! Still taking time between those long sessions to slip in some veggies though!

        Hope you've got your excercise regime planned as well! Exercise, water and veggies.....yeah that's the ticket!!

        Anyway, have an awesome day!! Remember, focus, goals, planning, and motivation......the key to success!!

        Congrats on those 3 pounds Sandy! You're doing it young lady!!

          I forgot to mention yesterday since my head was hurting so bad and I couldn't think straight.. At the bowling alley I have to wear one of the work shirts so that I can be behind the counter even though I am not a paid employee I just help with the league..

          Well the shirt they gave me 3 weeks ago was snug.. Its a 2x.. and it was driving me crazy..cause it wouldnot go over my hips and cover my butt... It was kind of bunched around my stomach. So I wear my regular shirt under it.. Well yesterday I wore it down over my hips the whole time Still a little snug but it went over and that is a GREAT thing

            You are doing great Sandy . I think the funny taste is probably from ketosis, although I haven't really noticed it, I have read where alot of people do. The only answer I remember seeing is...water, water, water.

              Yes, I believe the taste comes from the Ketosis. I think I have it somewhat in the begining..not sure if I just get used to it, or if it goes away on it's own! The only thing I've ever heard to help is drink water as well.

              Not sure if I mentioned yesterday that my husband is down to 191 or so..last time he weighed (a week ago??) he said it was about 198. It's awesome for him!! It does both good and bad for me..motivates me to think I will get a whooshie like that, but also frustrates me that nothing seems to be happening for me. I didn't measure myself in the begining (I know I should have!), but I measured myself months ago when I was just attempting to exercise, and smaller portions of food (not atkins)..well I found those measurements last night, and measured myself, and I am exactly the same. I think it was in my head that my pants were fitting more comfortable because this past week they have been as tight as ever, and my next size smaller pants are no where near close to getting on. Anyways, sorry to be such a downer! I'm still here, and sticking with it.

                Missy, by your stats you have lost 14 pounds? I started two days before you and I have lost 1 pound. (of course I did gain like 4.5 my first week on induction, lol). My husband started the same day and he (the brat) has lost 7 pounds. Men just have all the luck! Hang in there, it will come off.

                    Hang in there MissyMiss - I am still a little stung over my measly .5 lbs loss the second week of Induction but I KNOW if I stick with this, the rest will come off and so will yours!

                    YAY SANDY!! I am so happy you got a whooshie and that the shirt fit you better this time, AND for turning down pizza and oreos!!!

                    I am ready for today - and today I'm going to try making those cheese danish Revolution Rolls so cross your fingers lol - I need something new for breakfasts. I'm doing good switching up my lunch and dinners so no boredom there but in the morning my stomach doesn't accept much. I need to find something a little different from eggs/bacon/sausage since I cut out the shakes!

                      Sandy - great job at the pizza party - with the pizza and the shirt! Sorry you had a migraine, though. I know that was a killer. The whooshie will hopefully bless you next time without a headache!

                      Scooter - good luck in the studio! What kind of music do you record? Just curious. I love music!

                      Missy & Di - Hang in there. It'll come!

                      It's cloudy here and it's supposed to rain. This is kind of a downer because my third grade student is going on a field trip to the zoo. I hope the showers hold off!

                      I am still going to find a way to walk. I brought my jacket with a hood, so if it's a light rain, I don't have an excuse! If it's raining hard, maybe I'll walk in the halls. Not sure if that's allowed!

                          I'm here! I've lost a pound, but yesterday was a bad carb day. I wasn't paying attention and at the end of the day, I'd only had 5 net carbs. I should do the veggie challenge, but I think I would be setting myself up for failure. However I did buy a jicama! Haven't tried it yet. I think it scared dh when he was unpacking the groceries!

                            Good Morning Everyone, just checking in. Not much going on here, i started a stats journal which im excited about and measured myself this morning and since this 6wks challenge has started i have lost some inches, so im going to keep up with it there in my stats journal, as well as my fitday percentages, something i need to get better at. Also this veggie challenge is such an eye opener for me, it showed me where i will skimp on veggies to keep my carbs down, so im changing a few things about the way i go about this woe. WEll you all have a great day and i will check in later!!!!
