    Otherwise, this is totally delicious and addicting! When some others heard I was going to bring this Sunday, they got excited about it.
    It is so yummy.. I have seen the raisins in it also. I don't add them..not even before Atkins because they get all swollen and huge and that is just nasty..lol

          LOL!! They're not nasty! They're totally yummy, all big and plumped out!!

          Hey, I'm also going to make the cheese danishes so a few of us can try them out as "buns" for the grilled meats. I'll report back in afterwards...

            Sandy, I get Bob's Red Mill Flaxmeal for..I think it's 2.99 @ bag at my grocery store, at one muffin a day that should last about 2 weeks. If you have a coffee grinder and get the whole seed and grind it yourself, it's alot cheaper. Congrats on losing another pound.

            Sassilee, , I know this will be a rough weekend for you.

            Juli, wooo hooo on both the pounds and inches. I have been slacking on the water too, need to work on that.

            Terry and Sandy, those broccoli salads look yummy, I will have to try them both. Minus the raisins, I don't like them.

            MissyMiss- That's great for your hubby! I do that cooking ahead thing on the weekends too.

            Mrsdavis - Glad yesterday went well for you.

            About the muffins, looking at carb counts for spices, I am leaning towards trying to make mexi muffins, with cayanne and cumin.

Since you came here for support with Atkins, I'm guessing that you have a board for IF support too. I hope so. There are some really good ones out there. Whatever you do, stick to the plan. I'm sure you know that low carb diets are recommended for IF patients and it really seems to help both women and men! It may not seem like it now, but you have a bright future with tons of possibilities out there. When we first started treatment, the procedure we needed didn't even exist yet! Try to stay strong and focused.

              Yes, actually the ONLY time I have ever gotten pg (my 4th ivf) was when I was doing Atkins. I have read all the info on low carb and egg quality.

              I belong to a multitude of ivf boards and have been through a bunch of alternative/experimental treatments as well!

                Hey everyone! Happy Friday! It is HOT here already in NC - yuck! We never seem to get much of a spring....just right from chilling into blasting hot. Ah well, I live in the South, what can I expect

                What is it about gallbladders that do that to you? My dad and granny and one of my friends have all had theirs out, and they all said that food goes right through them now? I wonder what the gallbladder does that affects digestion

                I'm so sore from exercising yesterday, that is the last time I take several days off in a row

                Other than that, no news here, I'm sleepy today even though I went to bed earlier than usual. My throat hurts this morning and I am hoping it is just allergy related and I'm not getting a cold!

                Lisa I'm sending positive thoughts your way, my very best friend and her dh BOTH have serious infertililty issues. They have to use IVF with ICSI to get pg. She has gotten pg twice, and it resulted in one baby, their son who is almost 5 now. They've done IVF about 7 times though....she's getting ready to try again this summer. It's so hard seeing people suffer through that I hope it works for you soon

                  That is the brand I got it was like $4.49 and it was in the Organic section..I got it at Farm Fresh but will have to check Walmart and see if they have it...

                  Well its good thing you don't like raisins cause they are SUPER high in carb counts.. that is one reason I don't include them...I make it so its legal for me to eat...and not worry about the family..lol

                    I can't remember everything but your gallbladder breaks things up.. But I don't have the issue of it going right through me now that I have given up the breads and the sugars.. I mean going on a trip somewhere I would starve...and not eat cause I was afraid if I did I would have to stop a thousand times on the way

                      Thanks everyone for the well wishes...it really means a lot, especially since I am feeling very moody/emotional/sensitive from the bcp's that I started for my cycle...makes the weekend really tough.

                      Had a wonderful thunderstorm this morning...love them! Never had a chance to exercise again...got home late and went to bed. Ugh.

                      Does anyone know if bcp's make you gain weight/retain water? TOM is gone and I'm up a pound...

                        I bet BCP would have that effect given the hormones. When I was on them I was still thin and never paid attention to my weight so I can't say for sure.....I really hope it works for you!!! Lots of prayers here

                          happy friday all. i woke up this morning to the sweet site of being in the lower half of the 250s. i feel so much better about my cheating last weekend. I didnt need to go through a full clean induction, in fact i have increased my carb intake by 10 carbs this week due to getting light headed from low blood sugar. i didn't gain an ounce of weight but i did stall for 2 days.

                          The gallbladder releases bile when you eat fattening food to help digest it. the bile also helps neutralize acid.

                              Sassi, I am sorry this weekend will be tough for you! Hang in there.
                              DH and I tried for awhile with no luck and have put it off for now. I haven't gone through what you have but my heart is with you, I know how dissappointing it can be each month,
                              Try and smile it WILL happen for you!

                              I HAVE to try that muffin this weekend!

                              Anyhoo, I am spending all day tomorrow cleaning and DH is going fishing, typical, LOL - Sunday I am relaxing and enjoying the nice summer weather with my pups.

                              I am pretty frustrated as I packed up all my food for today and left the house without it, AGAIN! I have to get my head on straight. So I just went and got an omlet, and will have to go back out and get a salad and healthy snacks in a bit. Like money grows on trees or something, but I have no choice. Its that or the vending machine and I'll take spending money
