        Hi Everybody! It seems like I have been all over the board today and I felt guilty for not taking the time to say Hi to all my stac buddies…I need to make that my first priority on this site! I am definitely in for a re-reading (or in my case a first full reading) of the book. Just take a look at my Help me post in the main forum and you will understand. I am doing this all bass ackwards! I finally lost one more pound though and the slim in 6 workouts are helping too (I posted there as well). I just seem full of …things to say today. LOL…not my first thought on how to finish that sentence. Anywho…have a good day to all.



        Thanks TMN for the rep points! I just had to post something sarcastic to that this diet is disgusting thread. I am really sarcastic by nature and it was just too tempting! I keep getting rep points but don’t know how to respond to thank the people who gave them to me. That and I can’t remember who to pm to join the “girls only” forum.

          Morning...Afternoon everyone. I have the afternoon off! Yea! This will be a long week-end. I lost 3 pounds as of this mornng! But, it's taken me 3 weeks to lose that. I'm such a slow loser, even though I exercise hard. I do believe it's my coffee, which I can't seem to give up. Are some of you re-reading the book? I may re-read the book also, there are a few things I wish Dr.A would've elaborated on a little more.

            Hi, everyone. It's late, I know, but I'm checking in. Can't wait for the three day weekend - I need it after this week at school!

            I think I'm retaining water. Probably too much salt and too much soda and not enough water. I've been so stressed lately and it's been hard enough avoiding the bad stuff! I've decided I need to go back and do another induction to try and get myself back on track. I have been doing my exercise regularly, which is good.

            Glad everyone is hanging in there. Also glad to hear Scooter is ok. (I did read that, didn't I?)

              Ok…I am po’d…big time! I just got insulted by one of my coworkers. She saw me in the kitchen eating a pickle and asked, very sarcastically “is that your lunch for the day?”. I said “no, I just ate a huge cheeseburger from Chili’s and a side of broccoli. I just saved the pickle for last”…Then she laughed and said “that must be your food for the entire weekend”…What a B****! I wouldn’t think much of this except that quite a few of my coworkers have made comments about me not eating to lose weight. I have told them I am doing atkins and eat all the time and I am working out but I think they have convinced themselves that I have a eating disorder. Now I know I lost a bunch of weigh really fast…190 – 129 in just about a year but I really think they are being a bunch of catty you know whats. They see me going to the scale at work and a few make comments asking how much more I am trying to lose and say I don’t need to lose anymore or workout. I am just getting that everyone is talking about me behind my back feeling and it sucks.

                I would chalk this up to jealousy. You probably just look better than the rest of them and they are envious. Try not to let it effect you and just stay on track!.....then wear a bikini into work when you are at your goal weight...hee hee

                    Kristy, I'm sorry that your coworkers are being such jerks. You've done so well and I think they are obviously jealous. On a side note, I think you should change your ticker to show your high weight~~it would be such an inspiration to others (like me!)

                      Kristy, sounds like they're jealous, I agree. Just keep your head up, you know how hard you've had to work and it wasn't easy either. Be proud. You look great. You know what you're doing, and thats all that matters.

                            hi again, sorry to have added my scaredness/paranoia... all is well again.... my daughter is home again and had communicated with my sleeping husband who forgot tell me. just before i went to sleep i noticed the police cruising my neighborhood again. that was comforting and with a little gin/diet soda and sleeping pills... I was able to catch a few zzz's.
                            Just had my 2 eggs for breakfast and I am still hungry... grrr! The phone keeps ringing...
                            Kristi, the cats are jealous... don't take it personally. Sometimes people say stupid things when they are just trying to make conversation. Everyone has an opinion on wt loss and how it should be done. I work with Dr.'s and we were discussing my diet. They wanted me to add more carbs, but I stuck to my guns and told them I am retraining my pancreas to not be so overactive and the only way to do that is to severely restrict my carb intake.... then told them about my grandma, who had diabetes... someone stepped on her foot with a high heel at church and her foot wouldn't heal.... she ended up losing it... Also uncle bob who decided the Lord would heal him and he could have his pie and eat it too. well, he lost both feet, eyes, kidney and had a stroke.... I told my co-workers I am not going down those roads.... I am sticking to this even if it is hard, so then they layed off... what can you really say? no food is work losing your feet over.
                            It is encouraging to hear about the whoosing going on. Happy for everyone!

                              Good afternoon,
                              Kristy, I'm sorry your co-workers are so irritating. I never have quite understood why other people think they are authorities on the weight you want to be. And again, they're probably jealous because you're enjoying your food and not suffering and STILL losing weght. Nothing speaks louder than success!
                              Terry, I'd love to re-read the book. I'd rather wait until you're back. School's over today, Hooray! But I still have some stuff to catch up on before I'm ready to start anything else. (Not to mention my eye still isn't back to par). Good luck on the additional stuff they're doing to you and come back feeling better.
                              Hope everybody has a great, legal Memorial Day. 1st one without my Dad, a WWII vet, but we'll stay busy and it will be great. Son is going to State Solo and Ensemble competition Sunday thru Tues. Daughter is spending the night-won't be back until Sat afternoon. Son playing in graduation band tonight. That means---ALONE TIME FOR MOM!!! Hallelujah! Also, having only one kid at a time for 5 days is exponentially less problems than both somehow. I'll probably still get to put out flags for Boy Scouts and take my mom to 2 cemeteries both 45 minutes drive-opposite ways. So, not tons of rest. However, I don't have to be at work, and I'm ready for a break.
