My goal is to find some form of exersize that I can do in my limited spare time. Don't anyone tell me to get up earlier in the morning. I am bi polar and must have at least 7 hours of sleep to be "normal". Currently I go to bed at 1am am up by 9am. feed the animals( we live on a farm) eat breakfast at about 10 am do dishes, clean eggs( I have 75 hens) clean kitchen talk to my pregnant daughter for 20 minutes, make my lunch for work., One hour on the computer, then get ready for work and drive 35 minutes to get there and work for 8 hours. Isn't that enough exersize??>??
Last time on Atkins I did Yoga and Curves. Curves is a 20 minute drive and I really got very bored with it. The Yoga lady moved her classes farther away from me and the class I want is at 9am way too early for me.
So what do you suggest. I rally hate to sweat.

Linda your days sounds busy enough that is for sure. I grew up on a farm so I know exactly what kind ofwork you have to look forward to every single day before you go to your paying job.
I hate to sweat but I feel so much better when I do.
I go to the YMCA- I have been going on/off for about 3 years. It is motivating to see people working out. Maybe you can get a small walk in on your lunch hour every day? I have an IPOD nano loaded with my favorite music or comedians and it helps burn the time. I was wondering how much a water proof one would cost (if they even have them?) so I can use it while swiming laps.....

It's a bit late in the month, but I figured better late than never.
By September 30th, I'd like to:
1. Drink 64 oz of water per day
2. Get back to the gym - 3 days minimum
3. STAY AWAY & WITHDRAW from Atkins bars
4. Use only 2 Splenda packets per day
5. Lose 3 lbs
I just started induction again after "permanent stall" ~ but I'm back.

I have run 2 miles without stopping many times. (YAY!)
I have definately established a 3-day a week gym schedule (woo hoo!)
I am still here! (ta-da!!!!!!!!!!!)
I have NOT managed to get into a routine where I drink sufficient water even 3 days a week. I am struggling with this, but not giving up.
I liked having goals, and am going to set new ones for October!

Great Job Guys! I failed miserably, but I won't be too hard on myself since I only gave myself 6 days! October 30 will be the new goal ~ If I can just get past induction. I haven't figured out how to tackle these last 10 lbs. Driving me nuts.

Reporting on Goals for September:
1. Keep going up the OWL ladder--done
2. Get my iron count up--I'm anemic & doctor is stressing me about it-will find out next Monday how I've done
3. Keep up Power 90 6 days a week-done pretty well
4. Make housework a priority--I've been letting it go and it's not good right now-made an effort, but I wouldn't call this one a success
5. Work on excess paperwork laying around-did a little/again, not a success
6. Keep track of food diary daily-didn't do well at all
7. Take more outshrunk clothes to salvation army-finally got around to it yesterday
8. Try to get to bed by 1 am most nights-yeah, right. Nope, not at all
It helped and I did make progress--thanks for having this!
