  • Induction over and 12 pounds down

    Hi Guys

12 pounds down! YAY! 9.5 in the first week and 2.5 in the second.

Historically, I have three small weightlosses and then a whooshie so it will be interesting to see if that happens again.

Am moving on to modified OWL now so as not to get bored. Steering clear of those low carb products and sweetners (have the odd teaspoon of Splenda).

Have a great week everyone. xx

Just checked in DANDR and 12 pounds means low metabolic resistance. I am so chuffed - almost a fifth of my excess weight gone in two weeks! x

Keep in mind, low metabolic resistance affects very few people. I wouldn't jump to the conclusing that you have low metabolic resistance, I would keep going, with OWL as written as long as your losing.

I made the mistake of moving onto 'modified' owl ... keeping my carb counts low, which was a mistake. It put me into a long plateau, and I never properly learned what my CCLL was..until i went back and did it properly...not only did it kick start my losses again, but it turns out both my CCLL and CCLM were far higher than I imagined!

Sadie - I will listen to your advice. I was going to keep the carbs low but will start to climb if that is the case. xx
