I'm only on day one.........I'm wondering the same thing you are about the "induction flu". I tried Atkins 2 years ago, but couldn't last past the first week because I felt so bad.

"Induction flu" is low carber slang for the withdrawals Dr. Atkins described in Chapter 11 of the book.

You'll feel yucky for a few days, but that's your body de-toxing from carbs and you switching from burning carbs to burning fat for energy! Way to go! BTW, the worse you feel, the better! It means you're going to feel GREAT when you come out of it! Hang in there Nell and shamshap!

              You won't regret it!

I usually get so amazingly sick the first day in. It passes and then you feel all the better afterwards. And the energy?! Woo! You are going to make it through!

                    {{{xven}}} I'm sorry. I promise you'll feel better soon.

Back way back when, I used to get induction flu, but because I never knew what it was I always quit thinking this way of eating made me sick! I'm so thankful ADBB was here for me to help me understand what I was going through!
