  • What can you eat on induction? Wallet-sized list!

Our delicious moderator Tammy (lost and found) put this together, and I'm telling you, it's wonderful! I've had to print out extras because my friends locally keep swiping mine (and I'm glad to give them away).

While this isn't a replacement for the Atkins book, it certainly is an excellent resource for quick questions about what you should and shouldn't have while on induction.

You can print these out, fold them up, and keep them handy! I keep one on my fridge and one in my purse.

    Thank you, Tammy!

Thanks for the list. It's just what I need to get myself started. I made a couple of copies so I could have one in my lunch box for work, one in the car, and one in my journal.

Hi ther all you adbb's . I am determined to make this work. It may take a few times getting it exactly right, but it will happen. I am encouraged by EVERY SINGLE BODY on this board! I need a little knowledge real quick- are the low carb bars (Net Carbs-2) okay during induction? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Thank you so much. Flo

No, sorry. The only things acceptable on induction are the things on the list! If its not on the list, don't eat it!

hi tammy, thanks for the list. this is my second go around on atkins and your quick list is great. i had great success losing weight the first time(after daughter #1); now I'm at it again after daughter #2. can you email it to me, i can't seem to get it to print clearly from the site.

Keep on trucking, as you know Atkins does work!!

Hi sorry but i need a clarification on the cheese. Is american singles slices allowed as long as it's full fat OR does it have to be those cheese blocks?

Im so sorry to keep bugging, but i just ate smoked samon, and it was ful of salt, and cheese i read the content on that and that too had salt. Am i reading it wrong??

Can i also drink decafinated coffee with creme?

                          Argh everything is too confusing

Everything you need to know in terms of what you can and can't eat are on the list.

You can also click the FAQ button on the top navigation bar and look at the list there too and to look at the Rules of Induction.

you only need to watch salt if you are salt sensitive. The only other caution about salt is that it can cause you to retain water, so you might not want to overindulge with salty foods.
