Who's Starting Induction 10/15/07

    Day 6 no cheats, but then I don't have to worry about a forest fire. Stay safe Alimccat.

    Its noon:15, normally by now, I would be starving, I use to eat lunch at like 11:15. But this week, really neat.

    I did my yoga and tread mill this morning. Little headache that comes and goes, nothing I can't live with and I don't want to take anything just in cause (every says lots of medicine isn't good for weight loss)

    Congrads sid, I'm waiting till Friday till I weigh myself (getting harder to wait everyday lol)

    1st Goal ~ 220 Done
    2nd Goal ~ 200 Done
    1/9 ~ 198
    3rd Goal 180
    4th Goal 160
    5th Goal 140
    Final Goal: 120-130

        Okay where is everybody else? Debi? Wasn't there like 5 or more peeps who started around the same time? Give us a quick update peeps! IT'S DAY 10! Woo-hoo! Also I'm curious who is going straight onto OWL and who is staying for EXTENDED INDUCTION? Personally I am staying on extended induction for another 2 weeks...maybe a little longer!

          hey. sorry.. didnt get a chance to post.... i started on t he 15th.. yup itsss day 10.. yayyyyyyyyyy.... well for me day 9 jus ended and so far so good nice and cleann.... i lost 5lb... i didn lose those lb until day 7. i think im gona stay on induction for 2 more weekks too or maybe more.. i have 20lb to lose.... n u guys know what.. you really get used to this eatin habbit... now i feel great =) i hope the same for u all... COngrats on makin it....

                hey alll... im kind of frautrated.. yesterday i was 5lb down but today i gained 2 lb bak.. so i have lost 3 so far not 5.. ne suggestion y this happend?? i mean my diet today was ok.. 72% fat 28 pro and 5 carb..... however i only had 700 calories yesterday.. mayb thats y? and i didnt get a chance to work out today.

                    Scales are batty! Don't take them too seriously. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll be fine. I didn't lose anything the first week, now I've got 3 days left of my second week and I'm done 6lbs. and I'm basically eating the same menu! Scales are batty!

                        There is no way this can be right, its says I lost 15 pounds this week!? Must've been water weight and I just finished TOM. My clothes do feel a little better. Today I'm wearing a pair of pants that use to be tight and now are only a little snug.

                        Anyway, I probably won't lose anything this week since I lost all the water weight already.

                        Sid don't weigh yourself so much, our bodies change from hour to hour. And like you said, its how your clothes fit.

                        Happy for alimccat.

                        Scales are very batty, I'm thinking about getting a good one that'll messure for fat% stuff too.

                            I can't really believe it, I got on the scale, "no that can't be right" got off and tried again "nope same thing" got off and checked to make sure it was calibrated right, got back on "says the same thing, weird" got the weights out the closet and put them on the scale "those look right" got back on the scale "maybe I really did lose weight!?"

                            I was on and off the scale all morning 'cause I couldn't believe.

                            Menu, all unprocessed meats (beef, chicken with skin, pork etc) fried in olive oil. I go light on the cheese 'cause I've heard women can have problems with all the yeast. Breakfast is always scrambled eggs with millled flax seed. And so much water I'm kind of worried I'm gonna hurt myself (I'm not sure what limits are). Plus my greens.

                            And like I said, probably half that is because of water weight and TOM ended.

                            I also do Yoga and Walk about a mile most mornings (3 out of 4 days we'll say)

                              Thats great bivi... wow 15lb... goood jobbb.... do u always cook ur food in olive oil?? im not weighin myself til day 14 now.... i hope i lose atleast 10 over induction... ive been eatin low calories... is that oka.. i have about 1200... but sometimes it goes up to 1800.. carb is under controlll.... i hope u ALl are a great loserrs and loseee LOTs.

                                Yeah, I can’t eat mayonnaise (allergic) so I have to make sure I get all the fat I can in other places. And number of calories depends on how much you weigh and what you do, I’m 200 pounds and active-ish so my calories hover around 1,800 - 2,000. (I can't think anywhere else I could say I weigh 200 pounds, I just couldn't )




                                The first time I did Atkins a few months ago I did it all wrong, to much protein and not half enough fat so I didn’t lose anything over a month. I read the book I guess I just didn’t understand. All your life you are told to drain all the fat from the bottom the pan, blot the meat to get the extra grease off, took awhile to overcome the conditioning.

                                And yes, everyone needs to lose healthy weight.
