    Re: What's for Dinner Tonight??????

Just a thought lol you can always put it on hamburgers, chicken as like a bruchetta type concept, you can have some with celery or cucumbers, or your favorite veggie. I add a dolp of salsa to scrambled eggs or in an omlet. Stuff your chicken with it and a little cheese and throw it in the oven.

Imagination will get you far in this way of eating lol.

Note watch for any sugar content, you may want to make your own.

        Re: What's for Dinner Tonight??????

Tonight, it's crustless quiche. I looked at tons of recipes (Linda's are great) & made a quick one. This will be the first one I've made without a shell. Crossing my fingers. I put turkey, cheddar, swiss, onions, kosher salt, pepper & garlic in there. Along with the eggs & cream. I think I'll make some broccoli to go with.

Last night we had grilled chicken topped with sour cream & salsa, speaking of salsa. Careful though, I was shocked to see sugar on the labels of 2 of the jars I had.

Do any of you use that Del Monte tomatoes that are the "mexican" recipe? I was thinking about earlier. Wondering if it was good.

A great recipe, but not for induction as it contains feta cheese (dairy rung 2 OWL) and wine (alcohol rung 5 OWL)

But you could substitute a different cheese and omit the wine to make it induction-legal.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I made the induction Taco's. Shells made from shredded cheddar cheese, and filled with hamburger meat, tomatoes & lettuce. They were wonderful, and tasted yummy. Too good to be true, even DH smacked his lips!

I made Steph's Yummy Chicken Stuff (recipe from Linda's Low Carb site), brussel sprouts and DH had baked potatoes.....We usually go out to eat on Fridays but I didn't want to have to deal with that since I'm only on Day 2, so DH brought the kids home McDonalds.

We both liked the chicken stuff, however I used 9 chicken breasts and one can of mushrooms undrained and there was plenty of tasty topping!

I made my water goal of 96 oz of clear plain water and 1/2 Dt Dew!! I'm going to try no Dew tomorrow!

Thank you everyone for responding to this thread. I have been on induction for six days now and feeling like I don't know what to cook tomorrow night. Your menu's give me a lot of options for the next couple of days. Your support is incredible and your photo's (again) inspiring. I will post a before picture because all of you have.

Hmmm, that looks delicious, I normally use a pie tin for my quiche but this look like a cake pan might be needed. I have printed it out for my next time I am looking to make quiche. I am not a big fan of wine so may have to leave that out. Making me hungry now just looking at the recipe. Thanks Rochelle! That's my mom's name also!

I ended up having a salad with chicken, and sauteed sun dried tomatoes in parmesean and butter. From Pappadeaux's the best southern restaurant with the Cajun and seafood. Found in Cincinnati, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, ATL, and a few other cities.

Tonight I'm having a recipe I saw in the newspaper today: bacon broiled salmon. Basically, you take a 4 ounce piece of salmon fillet, smear it with a mixture of mustard, dill and freshly ground pepper, then wrap a bacon slice around it and broil it. Sounded good and I have the ingredients at home. For veggie, I'm having some Swiss Chard cooked with garlic and olive oil.
