  • What's for lunch today!

    Hi all, I think the what's for dinner gives great ideas for people a little stumped in variety and imagination of what can be eaten during these two weeks and beyond, however, i think even more challenging is people figuring out what to have for lunch right in the middle of a busy day, some people have access to making lunch, some have to bring from home, some have to eat out, some need a lunch on the go, and this thread can give people some ideas they may not have thought about! SOOOOOO:

    WHAT's FOR LUNCH TODAY???

    Today, I am going to cheeseburger charlies and getting a side salad, with a cheeseburger and making a hamburger salad with the dressing of mayo and brown spicy mustard. I also have beans i brought from home that I am going to heat up and have .5 of a cup as well as finishing the rest of a 33 oz bottle i am working on.

      I am eating 1c lettuce w/ caesar, hardboiled egg, 1 oz cheese, and a few pieces of torn up pepperoni!

        Tuna, a boiled egg, lettuce, cucumber, radishes and green onion with mayo.
        Plus a mug of homemade broccoli and cheese soup.

          A cup of pumpkin with 2 tablespoons of cream, cinnamon, and 1tsp of splenda.

            mm.. i had a steakum with sauteed onions, mayo and tomato on lettuce.. yum!

            i wouldnt cheat on my love- ever in a million years, so why would it be okay for me to cheat on my diet?!?!?

              Actually you know, I'm debating leaving the rest of my pumpkin for tonight or tomorrow and grabbing a chicken salad.. well, no sense in being hungry!

                I had a slice of crustless "quiche" and a salad of chopped cucumbers and radishes. The "quiche" wasn't an eggy type of quiche---it was chopped leftover meats, cheese and some leftover kale, mixed together with a beaten egg (just enough to hold all the ingredients together) and baked.

                Dr. Atkins wrote that we should eat a combination of fats, protein and carbs with every meal. Ideally, the meal should be high fat.

                  I had 2-Turkey & green olives rolled in provolone cheese, a slice of salami, 1 1/2 c. cauliflower & broccoli. and have downed 60 oz of water so far today. working the next 20 oz.

                    A couple of ounces of chicken breast and a cup of chopped celery mixed with mayo with a couple of tablespoonsworth of crumbled roasted chicken skin sprinkled over!

                      Taco salad here... shame I didn't see the thread on the cheese taco shells - Yummy Oh well ~ next time... my salad was delicious anyways.

                        I am a repeater lol I had my hamburger salad today but insted of beans had some celery and cream cheese, i am about to go make my mock danish for a snack!
