  • Induction Buddies?

Im really struggling to do induction successfully. Ive only managed to do it once and that was with help from fellow inductionees. Is there anyone else on induction now that could do with some extra support?

            Good idea

Participating in a buddy thread is a good way to get to know each other and help yourself stick to plan in these early days.

If you like you can keep posting to this thread as an ongoing buddy thread after induction. Just ask one of us (Moderators) to move it to whichever part of the board you like. We can also rename it for you later.

I took the liberty of clicking on the code in your signature to see what your ticker looks like and copied its url to see if I could make it display.

You need to paste the bbcode version of it which will have the image tags round it and look something like this:
                [img]*http://tickers.tickerfactory.com/ezt/t/wdMWcyd/weight.png*[/img]
except for the two * * I have added.

If you copy that line of code and paste it but remove the * * from it you should see your ticker like so:

DIET RITE SODA.... is made with splenda, induction friendly and the Raspberry and Orange flavors a freaking awesome with our daily allotment of cream If you want yourself a nice little desert. They do have other flavors such as White Grape, regular soda, Grapefruit and some others. Just watch the portions per the allowed sweetners per day.

Just don't do what I did and mix the together by shaking it in a closed container. BAD BAD BAD idea lol. Everyone @ my works cafeteria found out. I had to pay for 7 ppls dry cleaning

I have been on since Monday(This is my 6th day) but I have had some 'sugar free' chocolate so I need to be clean about it this week. I am TOTALLY addicted to sweets/chocolate. I have to have some EVERY SINGLE DAY no matter what so this is really a challenge for me. day three i had no problems with cravings but every day since then I have. Its hard but I am determined. I am fatter than ever!

                              Re: Induction Buddies? (FM)

I guess I kind of need a buddy too. I had done very well on day 1 and then day 2 came and went with one little glitch. We ordered chinese and I did very by oredering the steamed chicken with broccoli and mushrooms with lemons to sqeeze over it. VERY good. Now here I was ordering sushi, not thinking that its a chinese restaurant not a Japanese one so my sushi gets here and I was chowing down. Sushi does no = sushi rolls. I forgot all about the rice being in them. Oh well. moving forward.

I have a feeling this time is going to be easier for now that I have been reminded the hard way to watch out for EVERYTHING. Food is evil if you don't make it yourself. I am having decaf coffee this morning with heavy cream and 1 splenda. Not too bad but don't look forward to the flu.
