I don't think coffee brewed from grounds has any measurable carbs.
Well glad you found us and glad you will be able to set a new course. Remember to get fats into your menu - remove sweeteners - drink lots of water - eliminate nuts and you should be good to go

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.
- Ambrose Redmoon Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear.
- Mark Twain Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway.

Are you experiencing any of the other effects of ketosis?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Are you experiencing any of the other effects of ketosis?
these are my current feelings.
Tiredness or fatigue
Headache
Feeling thirsty all the time
Bad breath
Metallic taste in the mouth
Weakness
Dizziness
Doing my 4 mile run yesterday was a very weird experience. I don't expect to lose weight on the first day, but as guy, peeing on a stick, thats what i'm talking about!
I don't think you should experience fatigue or headache or weakness or dizziness for more that a short time. The time we call induction flu. I would drink a lot of water, make sure I had enough fat and calories. Eat vegetables and take nutrients.
It may be hard to get in a longer run like that right after starting the diet because the body is not an effective fat burner yet but that should change too.

Thanks, well i dont know how much this matters, but to say more about my situation, although i am overweight. By no means am I in bad shape. I can run like a dog, I lift weights swim, I'm a work out buff, spend 3-5 hours in the gym 5 days a week. My problem is losing the fat, not matter how much muscle i build or cardio i do that fat is not going anywhere. I felt weak and almost but not quite sore while running and I definately have a headache right now and feel fatigued. I'm basically a rabbit now as far as it comes to eating. I don't use any excess things like the blue cheese dressing any more. I had mostly eggs and a all beef patty yesterday while eating celery, lettuce and broccli for the past couple days. I've changed my drinking habits to only water and have been taking in anywhere from 100-140 fl oz. if this seriously doesn't work i'll by this book next week.
