Especially the OLD version. The new one is somewhat more acceptable, but I still don't use it that much. Made pancakes the other day with it - 1/2 cup of ABM, 1/4 c ground almonds and 1/4 cup vital wheat gluten. Made an acceptable combination.
Great - Almost any recipe by Karen Barnaby (www.forum.lowcarber.org) (Active Low Carber Forums), including her "Low Carb Gourmet" recipe book.
DUD - most of the recipes I've tried from "500 Low Carb Recipes" by Dana Carpender (although most other folks think they are "to die for")
taco seasoning from Linda's recipes. I find I need to cut back on the salt the next time though. I think it made me retain water. I made a batch up for future uses too, and I probably use a little more than recommended because I like spicy stuff!- using more than recommended may be why I need to cut back on the salt too...
I agree about the pork rinds as breading. lol For deep-frying, I'd rather go the tried-and-true beaten egg/grated Parmesan cheese route. You know what, I might make some Chicken Nuggets tonight ............

Oh! Forgot to mention if it hasn't been already on this thread: a can of cubed rutabaga is approximately 12 total carbs (with surprisingly a lot of fiber - I think 6, as I don't have a can of it available), and is an excellent substitute for Mock Mash if you don't want to bother with even frozen cauliflower. I do that sometimes.
Depending on my mood, I might want Rutabaga Mash to be sweet, like a dessert, so I toss in a bit of ground cinnamon, a packet of Splenda, enough butter to satisfy - and at this point, even cream cheese is optional. Not too shabby for about 14 total carbs or so!

but dont forget folks that rutabaga (swede) is a starchy vegetable, so not induction-suitable.
I sometimes made celeriac mash for induction - yummy with butter or cream cheese.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Yum - Jicama fries or chips with some seasoning on them!! (tip, fry for a REALLY long time)
Yum - Almost anything off Linda's Low carb recipes site!
Dud - None I can think of...I'm sucha good cook! LOL!
