Oh Pineapple, it's horseraddish, creamcheese, gound beef,k tons of yummy stuff, it's supposed to be delishious, and I think it's the horseraddish that's supposed to give you a whoosh!!!
I am too chicken to try it though.....*Dieting makes you look good with your clothes on...exercise make you look good with them off.*

Re: Whooshie Pie?
Hamburger Pie
2lbs of ground beef(lean)
1 package of cream cheese
2 tsp yellow mustard
2 tsp horseraddish
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
dehydrated onions to taste
1st combine cream cheese, mustard, and horseraddish, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and dehydrated onions in a mixing bowl. Smooth it all out so when its done it will be a creamy yellow almost like the consistancy of the yolk of deviled eggs. Put aside, and split beef in half. Make a large hamburger patty and put into a round cooking dish(or square if you dont have round). Sprinkle with some salt and pepper and spread cream cheese mixture over the hamburger patty and take the other half of beef and make into another patty. Put on top of the patty with the cream cheese mixture and pinch the sides closed sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 325 for 55 min or until well done. Slice like a pie and enjoy!

Re: Whooshie Pie?
Remember it has to be either fresh horseraddish (you have to grate it and people say it's aweful, get a mask! LOL) or in a jar by the pickles w/ vinegar in it.
The return of the whooshie is supposed to be not as runny...lemme find it...

Re: Whooshie Pie?
Its so good too! I do feel that its the horseradish that makes one whoosh, sure seems to help me along. It MIGHT just be a coincidence, but the last time I made it last year, I had a whoosh then too, I know cause I marked it on my calendar. Drink drink drink that water, work out, and make a beautiful whooshie pie! Chef boy hubby sauteed some sliced mushrooms then added in a wee bit of grated mozza to go on top of it, made it even nicer! I'm eating some for brunch as we speak! YUM!
I buy prepared horseradish, just be sure to check ingredients as some of them have sugar.

I read 2big say in the recipe thread that the horseradish has a diuretic effect and even metioned that someone adding hot sause could help with thermo...something, either way 2 big says it works!
LOL.
It will work if you are holding lost of water...PERFECT TOM FOOD!!!
I wonder, you guys think it's safe to make one a week??*Dieting makes you look good with your clothes on...exercise make you look good with them off.*

Re: Whooshie Pie?
you can also make small 'hamburger-sized' ones if you are the only one in the family who likes them and freeze them uncooked.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
