  • I've only got 4 days to reach my first target, 2 lbs in 4 days is possible as I've managed it before.

    I'm doing well and I've just bought some workout DVDs that I can try and do, leaving out any activity that may threaten my stitches!

    So all guns blazing, I'm not going to miss this target due to lack of my efforts! :guns

      • ok i know that the weight is becuase of tom sneaking around but i couldnt help but get on the scale and i should have not because now im so depressed. The really good thing is that some one recommended me an article and i attached it to my signature and i can only so WOW..or OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i get it now. The more and more that im not makeing my short term goals is depressing but i kinda look at it like ok at least i gave myself to get to my final goal by dec 31, 2005. I just wanted to be at goal on dec 31 to that way i would not have to say "ok new years resolution is gonna be to lose weight!" I really dont want to be saying that in dec. Hey sally go sally go sally you can do it. Hope everyone else is doing good. I printed the article and will be reading it at least once a week or when i see the scale go up when im dong ok on food. Have to get the food part down first though. After reading the article and looking at before and after pictures I AM DETERMINED to do it.

            • I don't know if anyone saw my other post but here's the report. I went on the interview. It was quite strange. The guy was very hard to read. I think he was tyring to scare me from the position. I asked him what the hours were and he said "all day". I think he thought he was being funny. He says that many of the loan counselors are there from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. That scared me a bit because I don't want to live there. I just want a job. Anyways, after I left I spoke with the recruiter who made me feel a little better. There is overtime involved, but not every single day. The last part of the month and end of quarter is when OT is involved. Well, after I left work, I came home and wrote the recruiter that I am still interested in the position and that i'm available sooner than the two weeks that I initially told them. That is because right before I left work today my idiotic boss decides that he is going to throw a power trip on me and yell at me over something stupid. First of all, I don't deserved to be yelled at like i'm a piece of dirt by nobody. After he yelled at me, I asked him if he felt better. He said 'no' and I told him that I didn't eithr. I left in tears and left 5 minutes early. I don't get why people think that they have to yell at you like your a piece of crap to get their point across. I've worked for this arse hole for 4 years now. Anyways, i'm hoping the new thinner me can find a career opportunity at a place where they don't yell like a bunch of idiots and there is growth potential. Sorry for my venting.

                good luck with the job. hope you get it. i know how it is working in a place you really dont enjoy.
                i was looking at your weight in for 5/2. wow. wow. i think you are almost were i am. i have not gotten on the scale before of tom. but i finally said enough is enought. i have 2 months to loss at least another 20 pounds before i go home for a visit, and im determained to do it. IM really determained now.

                • Thanks. My weight loss goes up and down it seems. This past weekend I didn't do very well at all. I was invited to a picnic with lots of Hawaiin bbq. teriyaki chicken and steak, pork, fish, rice, etc. etc. etc. I ate everything and then some. I've been really watching things since then though. I'm hoping to go down another 20 lbs. by July but I think that might be unrealistic.

                    Viki, have you heard back in regards to your interview at all? Well done
                    for your weight loss, your on top form at the moment, great going girly!!

                    Shelly, I've got TOM lurking also...should of been 2 weeks ago :yikes (done x2 preg tests which are negative thank god, boy I'm not taking any more risks!). I have fluid retention but it could be because I've been put back onto antibiotics :sadblinky.

                    I reached my goal of 118 but it's going to be a struggle to reach my next one by the 10th May, as I've picked up a nasty infection where I had the perforated bowl repaired, and it's so painful. However my eating is staying on track, being really good, but that’s probably as I feel quite sickly from the medication and don't feel like eating much. I shall not be weighing myself until the 10th May, hopefully TOM would of been and gone and I'll be off the medication.

                    I’m feeling a bit down at the moment, I miss my friends at work and being able to do things and go for walks etc. I’ve been signed off for another 2 weeks, which is needed but feels like forever. My baby is a nursery all day so the day is very long, and when he comes home I can’t pick him up and cuddle him because of the surgery. All a bit of a bummer really! Oh well, it won’t be forever.

                      • Hello my fellow bombshells!

                        I just wanted to say hi to all of you, I haven't been on in awhile, fell off the low-carb wagon big-time, but luckily didn't gain any weight. I have been back on induction since yesterday (for the 100th time), and have set a mini-goal of 160 by May 10th, which also happens to be my 30th B-day. I will be so depressed, so I was hoping to lose a few more lbs. to make me feel better. I want to be 155 by the end of May. This morning I weighed in at 163. Hope everyone is doing well, missed chatting with you guys. I need some motivation and inspiration! Take care.

                          start from where you left, why not join the weeks challenge?

                          May 10th is my challenge deadline also, we've got to make that objective!!

                            Glad to hear from you, and hopefully by May 10th, we can meet our mini-goals. I think I'll join this weeks challenge as well. I have done great today, had 2 eggs, 1 c. cooked spinach and 2 oz. cheese and tons of water. Hope you have a good one!

                            • Thats great Kim, stay on track today and tomorrow will be easier,
                              you'll not want to mess up your hard work from today. I find once
                              I'm past day three and keytosis kicks in I'm well on the way to effective
                              weight loss and the hunger levels decrease.

                              May 10th is only 6 days away, make sure you feel good by your
                              birthday! No bad carbs and eat well you'll be a happy lady :nod.

                              I've been very tempted at stages this evening but not given in at all - so
                              I'm happy, I like waking up in the morning knowing I've not eaten rubbish
                              the night before. I am hoping to have some positive results with my Keytostix tomorrow. Here's hoping...

                              • Alright, I need your help. During the day i've been doing very well until the evening. Last night I did really bad. I had one medium sized m&m cookie and a Little Debbie's oatmeal cookie sandwich. I don't know why i'm having a hard time controlling the sweets. I do great, then blow it at night. I know that I need to go grocery shopping and buy some legal stuff. I'm gonna buy some cream cheese, and sf jello. I might just make my own jello because everyone says don't use sf jello with aspartame. I saw a recipe using knox gelatin, kool aid mix w/o the sugar, and splenda.

                                Why can't I control my sweet cravings?????
