I must have totally overlooked the pumpkin! I've looked at the list so many times, not sure how I could have missed it.
Rhubarb is just coming up here, that will be a nice treat when I'm able to pick it!

I recall loving rhubarb pie as a kid, but we had it growing in our garden back then. I don't know that I've ever seen the stuff at the local grocery store, but I'll have to take another look...
I see it here in the grocery stores but usually not until late summer. It's really easy to grow!

It is extremely easy to grow. I have one patch that I don't like it's location so I have mowed it off several times and it just keeps coming back. I need to dig it up this year. Last year I bought a variety that is suppose to be sweeter and great for baking and freezing. It is coming up very well this year! Can't wait to try it!
