you measure the food right from the package for its carb counts. then if you cook it down you know you have X carbs in the pot
You seem to be too concerned about the concept of 5 net a day if you got 7 net in your 1/2 cup count 2 as part of your old carbs from your induction days and 5 as your new ones. then just add the food to your 3 cups of vegies from induction. If you already had tomatoes with chillies in induction then you know this isn't a new to you food and don't have to worry about any blood sugar spike from the food just the total carb amount for the meal/day.

Im thinking of moving to OWL next week . What about the ratio ? do i still have to worry about it or can i ommit my ohh so dreaded extra fats such as mayonaise butter oils etc. ?
