    Yes, mayo has carbs.

Since you are in the UK, aren't the carbs listed on the label?

The herta sausages ingredients are as follows: Pork (72%), Water, Pork Fat, Lactose, Salt, Milk Proteins, Flavouring (With Celery), Wheat Fibre, Yeast, Colours (Paprika Extracts , Carmine), Antioxidant (Sodium Erythorbate), Preservative (Sodium Nitrite).
    Not exactly the best choice...

    M & S burgers: British Beef (95%),Wheatflour,Yeast,Salt,Emulsifier:E472(e),Flo ur treatment agent,Ascorbic Acid,Cracked Black pepper,Sea Salt,Preservative:E223(Sulphites).
With wheat flour as the second ingredient, these burgers are not a good idea for Induction.

You can make your own burgers from ground beef.

As for the weight gain... after a day with 2 processed burgers and 2 tbs of soy sauce, I'd gain weight, too. Water weight... from all that sodium.

Georginana: Yes we have carbohydrates listed in the nutritional information on products, i dont know why i thought mayonaise had no carbs.

I am going to eliminate the sausages and burgers from my diet and make my own, and i will try not to have much soy sauce ( so sauce is induction firendly isnt it?)

I was also wondering, is bacon ok? and i know the book mentions we should have aspartame, but im really missing diet coke and sugar free red bull, i introuduced it about 8 months ago, but have stopped having it for over a week now, and really crave a fizzy sweet drink, any suggestions? and does having diet coke or sugar free drinks really affect weightloss?

Aspertame can cause weight loss stalls & cravings. Also, if you crave sweets, the best thing to do is eliminate them - the cravings will gradually lessen. If you feed the craving/addiction, you will just crave sweets more.

Soy sauce is questionable - I use it, but in limited quantities and not every day.

if your soy sauce is the real deal then it is legal BUT if it isn't and it has wheat in the ingredients it isn't real and isn't legal for induction. Also look of radded sugar as many soy sauce makers add sugar to appease westerner tastebuds.

Skip any preformed meats and start with fresh to be sure you are within the rules. Weight loss will fluctuate so make sure you are measuring and you are picking at the most one day a week to count as your official weigh in day.

Hey guys i gained again today lol ... it really upsets me, i feel im just lingering in the 80's forever... im 88.5kg today so yeh gained... ive taken all of your different advice, i have uped my water intake i am at 2 litres a day and trying daily to add more.. i aim to not eat tomatoes as of today to see if it may be affecting me, i am also going to avoid cheese for a few days to see if that may be a staller, and i am limiting my onion intake. oh not to mention i shall not be eating any processed foods ( ie the sausages and burgers).

Apart from that i cant think of anything else. i shall not add diet coke or redbull to my diet just in case that worsens things.. If you guys could have another look at my fitday i think im almost at a week so maybe someone could see something im missing

              thanks guys

              xx

slow down. Take it one change at a time or your atkins will look nothing like aht you orginally lost weight doing and if you do lose you will have no idea what was the fix and what was the problem

I took a peek, Sara and one thing I noticed is that you are using fitday's entry for 'mayonnaise, regular'. The carbs counts for that are way higher than the actual carbs in Hellman's or Lidl's fullfat mayonnaise, so you might want to make a custom entry for whichever one you are using from the label nutrition information.

I saw today's entry just had the 300 grams of lamb so far - are you using any fat in that meal or just eating the lamb as stated? It has much more protein than fat so would start to skew your ratios somewhat.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
