    How old is Jax?
I hope I'm not making a blunder here, but I believe "Jax" comes from Jacksonville.

Yes why? And water. Baked the chicken breasts after covering them with veg oil and spices and cooked the cabbage in olive oil and butter.

Hmmm, ok, does just under 1700 calories count today? I have always been one to eat a large lunch and smaller dinner. I will say the last couple of days my appetite has been close to non existant. I am making myself eat lunch by 1pm.

                  Thanks atkinsgal

                    Sounds reasonable.

                        Re: New goal

WOO HOO! I went one day without weighing and then I caved this morning...139.40! The sad thing is I know if I weighed myself tomorrow it would go back up and then down. So my new goal is to not weigh myself until Monday. It's baby steps with me, I need to put my damn scale in the attic but can't yet. But I really should put it in my daughter's room. I won't dare go in there to wake her up to weigh myself.

I am really glad I got to my 2nd mini goal, it feels great. Thanks for the great advice from everyone it seemed to get me out of TOM slump.

Congrats on making your goal and congrats for making it one day without weighing. Now, lets see what happens if you try 2 -3 days.

                          Good job!

                            Re: New goal

Just moved the scale to my daughter's room. I won't be tempted in the morning after I pee to step on it. I usually wake up before her and do my own thing. So, here it goes. Another day. Baby steps.

I never thought in my life after I had my daughter I would see in the 130's again and I got rid of a bunch of smaller sizes. I kept some but I felt deep down in 2008 I would be always teetering on the border of overweight. I tried everything in 08 and nothing worked well.

Although it took two years, I am here and I want to stay here.

Thank you Atkins for making it happen with everyone else support and advice.

I guess magic happens when you don't step on the scale 10 times a day.

                              Congratulations!
