when I sit down to eat ..that is all I do ...First I look at it...I feed my eyes, then I smell it, feeding my nose, then I taste it, savor it, and feed my body....I do not eat and "do" anything else. I found when you completely appreciate the food in front of you..you become content sooner.
That's how I feel, and I'm putting effort into finding foods that do this for me. I've really enjoyed being creative with my food choices and I'm so much more satisfied.
This board really helps keep me motivated too. Seeing the success stories, and seeing the failures too. I love how supportive everyone is.
Heidi, your signature stats were impressive before, but the pictures put it into an amazing perspective.

Heidi, you look great, what a gorgeous flat tummy! And that dress you have chosen is divine! I agree with you on the natural foods. I always liked plain food best, have never been a sauce and dressings eater. Since being on Atkins I buy my fresh vegetables 2 or 3 times a week, get the best meat, chicken and fish I can afford, and get creative in the kitchen. My DB eats what I eat with soime extras on the side, and is totally supportive, which really helps.
Hope I look as good as you at goal!
