They have live entertainment and wonderful food. The clientele is heavily comprised of those of Persian descent, which I believe is often a tell tale sign of a great ethnic restaurant.
My favorite dish is the tahdeeg with khoresh fesenjoon and khoresh gheimeh; however, that is not Atkins friendly. I typically opt for the much more friendly fillet kebab with the rice substituted for a shirazi salad. It is delicious!
If you go, please do tell me what you think!

Hi Tom,
I just called my husband, he is in Orange County right now. He has been to the Caspian. And when I was there in February, we drove past it, but I didn't eat there. My 22 yr old son just made Fesenjoon about a month ago, and he brought me some. I said, "NO, NO, I can't eat that". He said, "Mom, If I made Fesenjoon all by myself, you better taste it." So I tried a little without the rice. It was great! Yes, tahdeeg, gheimeh, make it often. Gheimeh is the favorite of both of our sons. BTW, My husband is Persian, I am American. There are several Persian restaurants here in the Chicago area, but not as many as in CA. But many of them do not have the food quality they should have because they figure just because they serve Persian food, people will flock to them because the choices of Persian restaurants are few. Probably the most popular items at these places are filet kebab and the ground beef kebab with grilled veggies and rice. And the boneless chicken breast kebabs. It is difficult to make those at home because they are grilled. But the other Persian foods such as the khoresht meals, they are better made at home. My husband says I cook better Persian Food than most of the Persian restaurants.
I am getting hungry!!!
Just amazing... I am speechless. - that doesnt happen very often.
I am very happy for you, it must have been such a thrill when you finally
seen the numbers in your reach.
Congrats.
How does one become a butterfly? You must want to fly so much that you're willing to give up being a caterpillar.
Thank you for posting your pictures. I think pictures of real people (not celebs) are the best motivation in the world. As a mother of one young man I know that looks are just as important to males as they are to females - but people seem to forget this. You are a gorgeous young man!! You have a beautiful smile, great hair, and your inner handsomeness is shining through on the outside now. I am so happy for you and so inspired by your pictures. I see that you also love the Lord and that is the most important thing in the world. Good luck to you and to making good choices in every avenue of your life. God Bless. Donna
