NP on the thread Heidi! I hope you have a fab time back on your old stomping grounds! I'm counting down to August 12! (And hoping I look fab and much more slender by then! I want to surprise my mom...she's always been my biggest weight loss cheerleader).
These are hilarious! I spent my youth where guys were doin' fking donuts in the pahking lawt near a packey. The magic of Rhode Island - formerly a dump in my day - and now a gardenspot. I've always liked it!

Not for Nutin, but I think living in RI is more fun when you don't live in RI! It's cold here in the winter, taxes are high, most towns have sucky school systems (that's wicked bad) and the politics are crazy. Did I mention it gets pretty cold here and all this nasty white stuff piles up and has to be moved? With a shovel?

Fo' sho'...I have not forgotten that. I try not to rub it in my moms face when she calls in the winter complaining about the snow...

Heidi, she is stunning, you must be very proud! I'm glad the wedding went well! Looks like someone upstairs was smiling for you.

thanks J!!!! I am proud of her

hey here is some irony ..I took the kids to Tommys pizzeria (if you were from my area of town then that is the place to hang out) well as we were sitting there a guy and I a started talking about the juke box and the way things used to be ...well it turned out that in the woods behind my house he had built a fort that was made out of bamboo and palm ....now first of all the old Elmhurst woods (that are now condos or something) was THE place to build forts and they had some amazing multilevel and even dangerous underground ones in progress all the time there....his I had actually played in ...I remember it so well because we used to call it the Gilligan shack it was so cool and looked like Gilligan's island....no more woods back there ..I checked it is all paved and built on ..but I still have those memories of playing all day long there ...
