Re: 3 Day Carb Binge - Is It Okay?
"3 Day Carb Binge - Is It Okay?"
The answer to your question is no; however, let me articulate.
When you decide to lose weight, be it 10 lbs. or 200 lbs., you have to make a conscious decision to change the eating habits that lead you to the weight gain to begin with. Doing the same things nets you the same results. You mentioned that this is something you do on an annual basis, and to this I reply... Good, this is the perfect opportunity to change one of the standard routines that caused you to gain the 10, 20, or 200 lbs. to begin with. That being said, we are not your parents, doctor, pastor, or close personal friends. You don't know most of us from Adam, if you will, but we are here to provide you with the best advice that our experiences can offer. It may not always be what you want to hear, but more often than not, it will be what you need to hear. I personally think this would be a wonderful opportunity to make a change for the better and prove to yourself that you are serious in this venture.
Should you decide otherwise, these are some of the side effects you may be subject to:
Bloating
Headaches
Diarrhea
Lack of energy
Hunger
Continued "cheating" due to voracious cravings
I hope you make the right decision for you, but wish you the best with whatever you decide.
Tom
