Ooooh! It's a take off of the sweet Flax Bread recipe:

      2 eggs, beaten well
      4 Tablespoons of Flax Meal
      1/2 cup chicken stock
Dehydrated onion and garlic (between 1/4 & 1/2 tsp)
Seasoned salt (Johnny's) a couple of shakes

Mixed all, and let thicken up a bit. Poured into a 'pamed' microwave proof dish (small, about 6" x 3" ish) and microwave on High for 3 minutes.

Then I just cut it in half lengthwise.

You can also add baking powder (I think the sweet version does)...but I didn't this time and it puffed up just fine.

Something else I thought of after it was done. I have this recipe that's non-LC, but I think I can do some "add-ons" to this recipe. It has shredded zucchini, parmesan cheese and a little (a lot) of cayenne pepper. I'm going to try that tomorrow...I'll let you how it turns out!

Sheshy, does this stay puffed up like bread for any amount of time? Can you toast it? Is it better to make it and eat it right away, or would it hold up packed for lunch?

That looks way better than the flax bun I had this morning. Amazing. I used to eat them (flax buns) all the time when I first started induction and I thought they were a godsend! Something to dunk into my eggs! This morning it was like............ blech! LOL.
I'm about outta flax, So I am going to try the golden this time around (again) and try this bread. It looks awesome!

            Hi Valid,

If I was making it for the next day, I'd probably add the baking powder...and the texture is more like a quick bread (does that help?). This is the first time I've made the 'savory' version, but I think it would hold up just fine for lunch!

About toasting, I had a bad experience with the sweet version, and while toasting I got this whiff of scalded eggs (yuck). But, I have put it under the broiler and it's good...so go figure that one???

I'm trying to catch up here. We have the same forks! And I prefer Marie's as well, but if I have to buy Naturally Fresh brand I prefer their Roasted Garlic Blue Cheese, that stuff is darned good!

Oh man, I should have photographed mine. I had a Delmonico steak and zucchini sautéed in olive oil. It was amazing! Then I had a little bit of ricotta cheese w/ a few blueberry's in it. I'm still full!

Please tell me this is okay for induction. I think the book says 1 Tbsp, so if I don't eat all this at once I should be okay, right?

Yes, since you're limited to the amount of Flax and it's use (regularity) during Induction, only half would be appropriate.
