No, but you can bet that when I can afford it after I finish losing weight, I'm getting a tummy tuck, a butt lift, and a boob lift!

funny how we have not heard from men. I'd have my inner and outer thighs, my boobs, my abs and my 2nd chin that never seems to go away no matter how much I lose. My butt is okay... I need that extra cushion if you know what I mean.

Re: I Know this may be touchy but........

Thank you for asking this question.

I'm shocked at the candidness of the answers, because I would do so too.

Now, before I started the Atkins diet, and feeling fat, and a bit down in the dumps, because I had no idea how to loose all this weight. I started to research liposuction. Except I felt so guilty about doing so, I went to Internet cafés to research, as I didn't to have a "Internet fingerprint", or research paper trail left on my PC. I felt so guilty about researching liposuction.

                I even called a clinic from a pay-phone.

Now, what I found out was, that it was going to be expensive. Very expensive. Three quarters of a months salary, just for one session. It might even be cheaper to fly to Manila and get it done in the Philippines than in Japan.

Also, a message I kept reading, was the amount of fat that can be removed in a session is quiet small. 7 to 14 pounds being the average. OMG, this was going to cost me a kings ransom, and still not much weight loss at the end.

Now, this is one of those funny moments in time, when two life changes events met.

I had just about given up on liposuction, I noticed that there was a Discovery channel program about liposuction, and I watched it. It showed women wanting to remove a slight stomach bulge, and I bloke who wanted his peck's to have better 'sculpture'. This only confirmed my research. Liposuction, was not going to make me thin.
The program after, was a program about the Atkins diet. It had doctors screaming that the diet didn't work, and the results at the end showing that it was better than the other diets.

From there, I researched the Atkins diets, and one thing leads to another, here I am today.

Wouldn't that cost about 15 thousand dollars?

if it was completely painless...also afterwards...I'd take a tummy tuck I guess but since I dont even wanna imagine how much this hurts...nope, I'm not nuts.
I've never been someone to show my tummy naked except on the beach, so I'm sure I'll survive without it.
liposuction? what for? we can lose all that weight without trauma to our body.
Date to reach goal: I don't care, as long as it happens :P

I would say a definite no. I have seen the Discovery Channel programs and how they just shove this little vacuum-like thing under the skin and shove it around. Definitely no.

It is nice seeing a picture where I actually have a neck!

I would say yes. By the time I reach my final goal I hope to have lost 260 pounds and there's going to be a lot of loose skin that is not going to go away no matter how hard I work out.

one of my friends decided to get liposuction of her thighs and a tummy tuck, I'll admit she looked great but all the drains after the surgery and the pain she went through made me stop and wonder... I still think after the end of my weight loss maybe I'll get the liposculpture which is less than the liposuction and a lot less invasive. But thats years away... after I'm done having babies for other people.
