        Just wanted to pop in and tell you that Breyers makes a Carb Smart Fudge Bar that is only 3 carbs!! And you shoulda seen bf's eyes light up at the sight of chocolate!! Yum!! Just wanted to share, back to the books now!! xoxo

        (Oh yeah, and its reallllly good too, er, um, so I am told!) (Oh yeah, I can have dairy, what am I blushing for?? LOL!)

            Yah...another new buddy! Welcome aboard 2much. You came to the right place if you want interaction. Today was slow...hmmm...does that mean I post too much?? LOL! Anyway..Congrats on getting under 400! Just to be able to weigh at home now is a great accomplishment. What a great job you are doing at taking your control back! Check in often!!

            Bill..."I only lost 2"...SIGH...do we have to have that talk again...you know the one where I smack you around a bit? Cause I will!! What are you averageing...6 pounds a week??!!! I am avergeing 3.4...I will keep all of my pounds off thank you very much! I waited a long time for them! Okay...I feel better now....LOL! I love how you are committed to us here enough to check in during your business trips. I appreciate it so!!

              Hello everyone, sorry I didn't post earlier but it's been such a hectic day! First of all at work I caught my pants on one of the metal thingys at the end of one of the aisles of shoes (work in the shoe dept. in Macy's) AND I ripped my pants down the side really noticeably. Surprisingly Macy's was very accommodating.. I ran over to juniors (while trying to clutch my pants closed lol) and got a new pair of pants WHICH they paid for, which made it a little better, lol...

              So then I am driving home (AC broken) and it's literally over 100 degrees, I think that wiped me out so when I got home I took a cold shower and then slept until 6 when I then had to run downstairs, shove some food down (resulting in heartburn) and then run out the door..Tuesday's baby-sitting..

              So 3 girls to babysit, my nieces actually, and while I am there they eat 1/2 a chocolate cake, a dozen freezepops, some candy and soda -- then they are off to bed. I almost lost it though, I was hungry and staring at that chocolate cake...but then...I called mummy...

              Mom is very supportive (which is why I wish she was on this thread too) and she had me get some cream cheese and sour cream from the fridge, vanilla extract, and splenda and walked me through making a serving of Atkins friendly cheesecake, and it was AMAZING! That and some tea got me through,.. I made it, I DIDN'T cheat, what a feeling!!

              Val - I sympathize with you about the school work. I'm not currently taking classes (on a scholarship that doesn't cover the first summer but covers all subsequent summers..) and I do not envy that work load. I think that taking so many classes and getting stressed out last year has certainly contributed, or more like is the direct cause, of most of the weight I've gained, as I am a stress eater.. But I think you're perseverance is incredible and extremely inspiring. My mom too, is in college, along with a full time job, so were she on here she would certainly be able to sympathize with you too...

              No exercise today...just didn't find the time is all...tomorrow's another busy day but this time I am determined to get some in..

              LiveLL - great job on the weight loss, keep it up! And I know what you mean, foods I probably wouldn't have reached for pre-atkins are now like rare jems I can't wait to acquire lol, ESPECIALLY that ricotta cheese ice cream, ELSIE! Although now I'm jiving for the 3 carb ice cream bar too...

              Our 2 new buddies - great to have you here, you've found a wonderful family who will support you every step of the way.

              ..Finished all my water but today it was difficult. Actually, I had to force myself to drink the remaining 6 cups as I was reading up on the thread lol.. but I did it, I wouldn't have if I hadn't of made that a goal!

                There you are Cori...I was wondering about you...and your Mom... when I didn't see your post when I came back on. Please don't apologize about talking our ears off. In fact it is the stuff that makes this list such a great place to be!! Glad you made it through the whole day and all its drama. You are learning to take your power back from the food. This is a good thing. So glad you had your Mom to call. How is she doing? I am out of ricotta cheese and whipping cream so my treat tonight was sour cream and cheese cream with a bit of splenda. Still like the ricotta better but it is tasty. I just mix a couple of TBSP of each with the splenda and eat it right away. Our AC is broken too so totally relate with you there. Anyway....glad you checked in.

                      Good morning..another sun shiny day here!

                      How is everyone doing?? Didn't get my full 10 cups of water in yesterday. Got a little behind what with playing the games with DS. Was not going to drink it all late at night just to get it in as then I am up and down all night to the bathroom.

                            <<I adore Extra and chew it all day. I've chewed tobacco for 24 years and gave it up last September so this is a replacement I suppose. I chew 12 to 18 sticks aday and I dont feel it really is hurting me that bad. Good Luck. God Bless, Joe>>

                              Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a good day so far. I made the mistake of drinking an iced coffee yesterday and it kept me up all night. I finally fell asleep around 8am but only for 4 hours. I haven't been having caffeine at all so I guess that's why. I learned my lesson though.

                                Hey Vanessa...I was wired from the video games and didn't get to sleep until 4:30 and then up at 7:30. Caffeine doesn't not affect me. I haven't decided whether that is a good thing or not. You know that thread where I...umm..spoke my mind...the help one. I got a email saying you posted in there..nice response btw...but I can't see it in the actually forum. Am I sleep deprived or is it there..if so what number message is it...I've checked and rechecked.
