OUCH! Not here. In fact a lot of threads have to do with the appetite supression of Atkins and how we need to make sure we are eating enough. I struggle with that daily. 2 cups of acceptable veggies a day plus one other one. EVERY DAY..no matter where on the plan you are.
Thank you for posting your 'reload' menu. Totally weird why that would work. Why did you choose to do that kind of food rather than say...higher up the Atkins ladder and use whole grains, fruits and beans...those kinds of things? Why not pick healthier alternatives?
The above question is also for you germansano...why that kind of food instead of healthier higher rung ones?
I don't know I guess just a matter of convience and being tired of cooking like i have to do daily on atkins, combined with thinking i should have something off plan that i won't have for a while, splurg i guess.... i love bread and apple juice, and granolia bars the most i guess lol... i never really eat beans, rice or pasta etc... i lived off junk food so I guess i just revert back to it...

I would like to know how you figure its not atkins lol... is it because my remedy for bloat happens to be carbs... the carbs have no effect on me other than weight loss... they might as well be a carbless water pill... why are so many hung up on the reload.. why are my efforts and weightloss nothing? My "problem" not serious?? WHen other women in another section i've been told have expressed simular concerns with bloat...This is really ridiculous!!! WOW!!

Also, everyone gains water weight/gets bloated from TOM. It's part of PMS. I think a lot of people (including myself) thought you knew that going into this thread. If you didn't, and now you think you've realized why you're having water weight issues, I'm glad that you were able to figure it out.

LOL. Why though? Some people lose better when they up their carbs and go from induction and move up a rung or even skip a rung... but my problem is irrelevant because why, you dont like my carb tolerance in order to loose weight and remove bloat? or is it the kind of carbs you dont like because most carbs are treated by the body the same way..whether its pure sugar or bread...I just find all this die hard atkiness a little strange when other sections of the board its not frowned upon to veer a lil left if it makes you successful...

I've always gained water weight, 5 pounds though.. never 20 only on this plan have i been so miserable that i feel like i'm about to pop and others ask me why my stomach is so huge, i have never exprienced anything like this and my pms bloat usually goes away during or right after tom... this will not go away unless it's forced...
I have read this whole post and all the replys, but I am still unsure of what is wanted? It almost feels like you want us to say its ok to cheat, or that its ok to go off plan. You never really said if you have been to the doctor or not. I guess you must do what you feel is best, but you won't find anyone here who will tell you its ok to cheat (a planned chat IS a cheat) or to just quit. I am sorry and hope you find whatever you are looking for.

I dunno, something here doesnt sound right. I dispise stepping on me scale, but whenever I do it seems to be moving down. Either I'm losing or the scale is cheating me. Maybe you sleepwalk and eat in your sleep? Had an ex many,many,many moons ago(3 many's), she would sleepwalk and do stuff you'd normally do wide awake. And she was sound asleep. are you sure its not water weight along with being backed-up? Constipation is one of atkins side-effects, and maybe your carb load is just making you visit the crapper and get it out?
